Most of the sets are recreated for the interior shots, these are just used for the exterior besides the store that Joyce worked at, the grocery store, the pool, school and the mall

In the summer of 2022 I went to Hawkins Middle/High School, 9:55 My grandmother used to work in the school next door, There was a door open and we were lucky enough to be able to go inside a lot of rooms, we saw lots of hot sets including the therapists office, science lab, a classroom, and the art room. And saw some of the clothing they wore. The sets were covered in clear plastic wrap and everything was still in the same place. It was really cool!

As cool as it is seeing this I find it kinda weird that some of these locations are super abandoned and decrepit looking, like they have been visited in actual years despite filming taking place there not so long ago

That’s sad about the Wheeler house. I remember visiting the Home Alone house a couple months after the movie came out, and there were no gates or barriers. We didn’t get out of the car or anything. Just pictures out of our window because we knew people lived there. Now the property has extreme fencing and such. It’s really sad that people don’t respect private property. The fact that they have traffic cones in the driveway indicate that people actually were driving on it.
or even going up to the house and knocking on the door..ive seen people go onto the grass and take pictures.. so disrespectful

Let me warn you all, I just spent five hours inside of the Lab last night. It’s not how it used to be with people getting inside easily. They have figured out how to block off every possible entrance point. The only way to get inside is by breaking a window or pulling off plywood. They have installed motion detector alarms that are in almost every corner of each and every floor. It immediately brings cops who get notified of which alarm was set off so they know exactly where you are inside without going in. Let’s just say it is beyond a miracle that I made it out without getting caught. It took hours of waiting hoping they would leave, but as soon as you move another alarm sounds. After waiting long enough I finally just said screw it and ran out as fast as I could, setting off about five alarms at the same time. I made it off the property without seeing anyone, but man, that was the craziest shit I’ve ever done in my life. I think they upped the security unlike anything I’ve ever seen, as their plan is to demolish the building in the near future. I recommend not attempting to enter the building. Outside though, that was a piece of cake. Safe exploring everyone 🙏🏼

figured i’d mention that the large unit at 11:02 is a chiller.. pretty much large rental units to keep movie sets cool..
i know this because i actually work for an industrial HVAC manufacturing that builds these units. we also build air handlers that allow actors to see breath on sets.
I’m not sure that is actually one of our units (we generally build out units for a different rental company) but it looks similar.
I dont mean to be rude, but I need to point this out if you look at the brick in this video clip, you can see that it looks kind of like a green screen. You have to look really close though. 4:26

With all due respect to all of the You Tubers, who did Stranger Things set tour videos, you guys’s video is the best. How adorable are you guys! You guys are the only ones who went into the community swimming pool, taken pictures of each other on the lifeguard chair and re-enacted Billy’s strut into the pool area. I said, “Wahoo!”, when you guys did that. Plus the Bradley Store clerks were so sweet, and that’s so cool that one of you and the manager of the store, re-enacted the scene where Eleven stole the boxes of Egos, and used her powers to stop the clerk by closing the door on him. Great job you guys!
My favourite place from Stranger Things has to be Starcourt Mall. Definiately the place i would hang out at if i were in the 80s

Yeah but, the pool scenes were filmed 4 years ago. We didn’t know if the pool would be abandoned or not or if everything was still gonna be there. If you went to the locations I’m sure you we be as shocked that everything is literally the same as the show. It’s a whole different experience in real life

The seats are still there because it is still operating. They filmed the pool scene in ATL there as well.

We didn’t know if everything was gonna be there still cuz when we went it was almost 3 years after they filmed season 3. Things change!
Pool is open with no lifeguard on duty? I think someone simply forgot to lock up it. Either that, or they figured due to the show, enough people would just climb over the fence anyway, and therefore felt like leaving it unlock was the safer option.

Pretty cool video👍 you guys did alot more than i did when I was there. I was in GA visiting my girlfriend's family from May 6th - 9th 2021 and on the last day there we went to as many locations as we could while driving back home as part of our route.
We actually ate at Tiffany's kitchen AKA Benny's burgers. Was a nice experience.

@@BrewsterBot yeah we both had a meal at Tiffany's kitchen. We didn't sit exactly at the table that Benny and Eleven sat at on the show but rather the table behind Benny when he was sitting down at the table they were at in that scene.
When I went to the Hawkins high school it was an active set for filming at that time. There were military tents and busses and an ambulance there with the hawkins news van there also and stuff. It looked like a setup for a scene.
I plan on going to every site and maybe making a huge video of it all eventually.

NOPE, they don't want kids coming in messing things up. Say what you want, but I know they would turn the camara off and mess with things because kids can't leave shit alone.
They always have cops around when they are bringing in and taking out equipment used for filming, I know because I used to deliver some of the equipment to these places.

Not trying to discourage you, but I have watched other travel channels like yours for years, you should NEVER walk into a building and film it. Trust me. If you find an open door and you just HAVE to go in, cut the part of you opening, and going in. Just mention in the video it "was open"

PS, you should use a much easier and faster editing tool for these types of edits. I HIGHLY rec Movavi, it would get you the same results as Premier with this basic style edit and it will take half the time. It's just a more stripped down, faster to navigate and use editor. I love using Movavi for basic edits for videos like these. I used to use Pr for everything until i tried Movavi. I honestly now, only use Adobe if I have to do some like George Lucas shit lol. Anyways, thanks for uploading
