- Today I went to the LEGO Store and ended up making an unexpected purchase that involves trains! I thought I was going to spend the day sorting parts... but then I got distracted by motorized LEGO sets! Much more fun in my opinion!

I would only make it 1 floor taller and then make it wider. Else it might look a bit too tall and have weird proportions

I've recently come out of my dark age and have been struggling to figure out what what themes/build types give me the most enjoyment. I've ultimately decided on a train based city with lots of custom builds and am starting on my first train now with my oldest. I've very early in the process, but your videos have been tremendously helpful. Also, as a fellow twin dad I love seeing the twins in the videos!

What I'd love to do is get 2 museums, and expand the first floor to have back end warehouse and more floor space
For the museum, maybe add just one floor, without increasing pediment height; increase the footprint to 64 x 32 by adding to the wings by an additional column of windows on each wing.
I think this would have better proportions vs. just doubling the height.
You can connect 4 battery boxes to the app and run the train simultaneously or take turns
I have mine driving and stopping with color sensors 2 trains at the same time (one after the other, driving around in circles)
I need to change my storage system. I have it all in bins. Love your drawers. And seeing your city, I need to put up tables and build a city. All my 9V trains could run in there. So far I do changing displays on a large shelf, plus a winter village around the tree with a IR train.

i think you should switch the trains, put the white one on the bottom and the yellow one on the raised trainline. i think that's more realistic and it would probably look a bit better

I’d love to see all the trains going on at once that would be a Christmas dream come true. Hopefully family and friends could give you money to get the parts to drive all trains at once and the fair wheel and the winter chair left at once. This is my Christmas dream for you I hope it comes true dude

Thank you for doing this video on the trains. I still need to switch my 2014 cargo train over to Blue Tooth that I haven't since my train is still running fine. I did put a Bluetooth system in my holiday train when I was putting power in it since I didn't get the set until the new system was the only option.

I saw that you have a bridge on current your city with your passenger train. Do you have any reference to any past videos on what building techniques you did with the bridge building for your train layout ?

How do you maintain your inventory? Do you have a list or is it mostly in your head. Asking because I don't trust my head with numbers lol
What about the docks of the stations? If the train is getting longer, the docks will have to follow.
I think I have that with my passenger train. I think the controller struggles if it's controlling two trains at the same time

Why not just buy the City train and get those bits and sell the carriages etc from the train
I've been planning to double the height of my museum as well.
I do know to do it perfectly you're a bit short on a lot of the olive pieces. I already have a bricklink wishlist of the items you need. Even though I don't even have one of the sets yet.
