4:07 That's obviously wasn't a lucky shot, just an unbelievable trickshot by one of the greatest trickshots genius, that snooker world ever seen, to make this match beautiful.
I believe williams himself commented on this shot saying that it obviously was a fluke. Look at how hes holding the cue lol. Not taking it very seriously
bro, i dont care if you want to win, bbut what is this sportsmanship and spirit, and the passion? i feel like would go ham if that happens even to my opponent.
Witnessed a fabulous fluke once (different sport). The recipient of the great favour spun around and said "I'd rather be lucky than good." The antagonist replied "I'd much rather be good than lucky." Buddy snapped back "If I was you, I'd be getting in the lucky line." Priceless.
I know it seems unlikely but if you’ve not seen Martin Gould’s break at 2:40 I highly recommend. It’s the best you’ll ever see. Usually I’m only interested in Ronnie but wowzers
I can't help but wonder why there's such controversy, and sorrowful gesturing shown when a 'fluke' happens... ALL the players have had them at some stage, and ALL 'flukes' count. 😉😉😄😄
The real fluke is at 9:48 that it hit the red before hitting the pink. I had to use the < and > to move the video frame by frame, and there is literally only one frame where the cue ball is touching the red but hasn't hit the pink yet. Felt more like the NFL than Snooker.
You have 20 clips here so you've checked 20 million matches to find these? Ok, 20 million hits. Each 30 sec. That's 19 years of pure time watching snooker. Admirable dedication. =P (I know it was an exaggeration, I'm just kidding)
While playing snooker or pool, I would always, always apologise to my opponent for a fluke pocket! Even the annoying, arrogogant, pompous and agressive ones!
Why do they apologize? By it's very nature a fluke is unpredictable. It just seems to me that those should be the only shots you both laugh about and then carry on.
Marc Williams one-handed shot was lucky for sure but I wouldn't call it a fluke. In that situation he wanted the pink to be as close as possible from the pocket and eventually in it.
Smile Plz!❤
^_____________^
😁. Oh sorry wrong smile 😊
@@raidendragon8780 yeah don't look too happy 🤷🏻♂️😆
@4.09 No fluke, my guy.
Lmfao zooming in on mark allens face after kyrens fluke killed me
6:48
6:40 this had me dying of laughter
Meme potential lmao
That zoooooom
You could tell the soul of that man left his body
*sips water* phew he missed..
WHERES THE RED BALL GOING
Allen: 👁👄👁
6:35 best cameraman ever
6:40, Vocal range of that commentator with the camera zooming in on that player sitting down. That's the funniest clip of this video
'It's like the blue was under mistletoe there were that many kisses' - brilliant 😂😂😂😂
5:23 wasn't a fluke. That was perfection.
He pots the yellow, and also lands perfectly on the green? It honestly couldn't be better. Fluke or not it is possibly the best shot I've ever seen
Of course it was a fluke
It wasn't a fluke per se. He wanted to kiss the yellow and then give the opponent a very difficult position on the yellow
* 5:17
He apologised. So certainly wasn't intended.
Ahhh snooker. One of the games that will send a normal into a bipolar state of mind. It can make you so happy, then 5 minutes later so grumpy
haha so true, I watch snooker and think right im dying to play. 10 balls in and I'm depressed af
Golf will do that as well
@@waynekerr67 Golf’s a lil bit more manageable in that you only have to control one ball but yeah I agree
Pro bowling 🎳 is like that too
Unless youre decent at it. I have fun till im on a 30 break and miss the easy red
The Steve Davis shot just before the end really got me never have I seen a fluke like that on a snooker table.
I would never apologise for a fluke. Mainly because that's how I pot every ball!
Why apologise when you're not sorry!
Ah, lucky pool players)
"Where is the red ball goin'? WHERE IS THE RED BALL GOIN'?" Always love to hear this words...
«Where is the ... ball going ?» It's not reserved to the reds. I've heard it for all of the colours and for the cue ball.
These players are so good that if you told me they meant most of these shots, i could go along with it
True Fact: Refs who crack a smile are immediately dispatched after the round.
Lmao is this bs or real
That's bs bro, I have watched snooker for about 30 years and never seen that happen
@@bjarulez the real bs is your sense of sarcasm maybe
So funny when that 1 guy stopped drinking water when he saw red ball making way into pocket 😂
6:36 😂😂😂👍🏻
Love watching Carter’s face when someone flukes against him
The harder I work, the luckier I get.
The master of flukes Cryin Wilson just cannot stand it when someone gets the odd one against him.
Kyren's fluke against Anthony McGill is probably the one time I saw a player become really emotional about fluking a ball.
Mark Allen is a bundle of fun.
bro, i dont care if you want to win, bbut what is this sportsmanship and
spirit, and the passion? i feel like would go ham if that happens even to
my opponent.
0:52 outrageous
Wilson on basically every highlight
I love that in a match. If it's pre frame over,. It's an embarrassment but once the frame is out of reach. It's cheered on by your opponent.
Always love how the judges are acting unimpressed and not amazed at all
The ref puts the ball back on it spot and calls 50 points, for the bullseye and a laughter interval.
It would be hella fun to watch top players try to recreate these shots.
They have one punch in a million, I have these punches every time
"Perfect... they are all perfect!" (famous line from the movie "The last fluke" ) 🤭
I really thought I was about to hear the theme from "Curb Your Enthusiasm" at 6:47 🤣
Editing is shocking
Just when I thought I was getting good a snooker. Maybe I'll just take up darts.
I wonder how much money Nigel Bond is owed for giving Hendry his 7 world titles
I remember watching the shot from Tirapongpaiboon live and i was shocked😲
The Gilbert fluke at 0.53 is unbelievable. I think you have more chance of winning the national lottery than that happening.
Even günther van hagens was laughing
Williams vs Yan is not a fluke and it is 100% intended.
Witnessed a fabulous fluke once (different sport). The recipient of the great favour spun around and said "I'd rather be lucky than good." The antagonist replied "I'd much rather be good than lucky." Buddy snapped back "If I was you, I'd be getting in the lucky line." Priceless.
O Sullivan vs Perry is not a fluke and it is 100%intended.
Jimmy White always played for those shots.
You couldn't bet against sullivan actually doing those flukes on purpose! Lol
Roonie looks so disappointed that he fluked the brown 😅
I still miss Lee!
This actually looks like a normal amator level snooker game 😂 because there you see this flukes oftentimes 👀🤣
É provável, até entre os melhores.
Biggest fluke was when Ronnie managed to get STEPHEN LEE to eat a saiad
Absolutely Crazy Moment...thanks snooker hq,
Glad you enjoyed it
I've lost matches 45yrs ago I still have nightmare, s 😢
Most of them were only a cm or two shy of potting. Snooker gods correcting themselves 😂
flukes are nothing special. when I play, every pot is a fluke
Davis one was the best fluke.
When match fixing goes wrong
so it's different on snooker if you go wobbling on the side, since on pool it has to stay on green, and on 1:30 it went on wood and no fault?
They all get a fluke now and again. It’s just a part of the game. But some of these lads look embarrassed when it happens.👍
Flukes annoy the top players because they want to win based on their merits.
0:52 is the most amazing.
3:53 that was a great shot
0.53 david gilbert blue fluke in the corner is so outrageous and a half.
Fluke and a half , the best
I know it seems unlikely but if you’ve not seen Martin Gould’s break at 2:40 I highly recommend. It’s the best you’ll ever see. Usually I’m only interested in Ronnie but wowzers
Unlikely because it's in the video we're watching?
All the opponents sit there stone faced
The only balls I ever pocket are flukes.
I love how the opponents look absolutely disgusted - it's not like these are shoot and hope, noone is doing any of this on purpose, why the sour puss?
Is it poor sportsmanship to get a fluke? Why do they all look so sad?
It's not poor sportsmanship. They'd just rather win on their own merits.
Is Maguire a snooker player too?? The real goat 🐐🐐🐐
He just came to bully some arrogant snooker players)
What is happening at 9:12? Is the ball accelerating or not?
I can't help but wonder why there's such controversy, and sorrowful gesturing shown when a 'fluke' happens...
ALL the players have had them at some stage, and ALL 'flukes' count.
😉😉😄😄
That first shot I’m calling slop
Disappointed none of players look at audience n say "That takes Years of Practice!"😂
Прикольные моменты.
Cliff thorburn fluke at start of his 147 at crucible 1980
Snooker players - showing utter contempt and disappointment when another players flukes one in.
Also Snooker players - getting flukes themselves...
Shaun Murphy cannot stand his opponents fluking! Which makes it all the more sweeter 😅
Flukes are ok when YOU get them.
What's funny is when you play mental shots like that all of the time, those"flukes" happen alot more often. Lol
Did Higgins make that 147?
6:47 Mark Allen jumpscare
So snooker really let's slop play ?
DJ 6-0 DJ 6-0 DJ 6-0 😂😂
Iv always been good at fluker but crap at snooker 🤣
Why do they all get dissapointed when it goes in. When I have a crazy fluke like that, I jump like a tard from happiness.
Martin gould century break still the best
Surprised it wasn’t a Selby compilation
His billions lucky shots usually not as beautiful🤷 That's why.
Dave gilberts blue, series of coincidences nearly impossible
The real fluke is at 9:48 that it hit the red before hitting the pink. I had to use the < and > to move the video frame by frame, and there is literally only one frame where the cue ball is touching the red but hasn't hit the pink yet. Felt more like the NFL than Snooker.
Why would you apologize for a fluke? It's not like you meant to do it, and meant to piss off your opponent. It's a sport and it happens.
with Brasil's rule thiese fluks won't never be possible, caus' players must indicate, before shooting, the pot they want the ball to go in.
You call it a fluke....in America, we call it slop! Shoot is over, other player is up.
Mark Allen edit at 6:44 .. LOLOL
There is a reason that slop counts in snooker.
You have 20 clips here so you've checked 20 million matches to find these? Ok, 20 million hits. Each 30 sec. That's 19 years of pure time watching snooker. Admirable dedication. =P
(I know it was an exaggeration, I'm just kidding)
Hehe... nice depiction though,
not in this clip but the black that John Higgins fluked during his 147 in LG Cup 2003(?)
While playing snooker or pool, I would always, always apologise to my opponent for a fluke pocket! Even the annoying, arrogogant, pompous and agressive ones!
Come here in our snooker centre every one flukes
Damnn
whenever I make a fluke... I claim I planned it...
Same) But I wouldn't do it if I'd play professional.
I honestly don't know why players react the way they do when flukes happen because they happen regularly and to everyone.
Why do they apologize? By it's very nature a fluke is unpredictable. It just seems to me that those should be the only shots you both laugh about and then carry on.
Blue 🔵 is mighty..
Why is it most of them look depressed when the ball get in?
Marc Williams one-handed shot was lucky for sure but I wouldn't call it a fluke. In that situation he wanted the pink to be as close as possible from the pocket and eventually in it.
The better question is, where is the clip of him fluking the green while looking at it instead of the cue ball?
