I really appreciate your videos specially your "noon at ngayon" segment, pero mayron sana ako suggestion, yun images sa "Noon" are buildings from London UK sana change it to images showing local buildings. yun lng po. ty
ay sorry yun segment for "NGAYON" you showed the Bullet shape building located in London UK, anyway it's just a suggestion but all in all your videos give us Architects information that we didn't learn during our school days. thanks again!😁
@@ronquijano9459 sir, referring from your comment, sabi mo images from NOON are from LONDON UK
I have been a resident of Manila all my life and still living in the same city up to now, I am blessed to know how Manila is so rich in history and culture and kids nowadays , sad to say are more into malls rather than exploring their roots...I am a history buff and I truly appreciate the contents you have on your videos..it makes me want to explore my city more..no wonder because Manila is a prime city even before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors, we already have our powerful datus, sultans in the area, its quite strategic so no wonder that trade and commerce is already flourishing during that time...more stories to tell...looking forward to more videos ..salute!!
☺️🙏🙏🙏🥰
Tama lng, no skipping sa mga kbayan ntn na wla na tym mkapasyal & remenishing a past life, & now a new look from the past, hello Manila! Sa pagtanda & retirement, I'm going back to Manila, our Philippines no other 👍❤️ 🇵🇭
☺️🙏🙏
Ang ganda ng opening statement mo, "if roads, walls and buildings could talk..."
Thank you uli sa panibagong history lesson. Seeing the old pictures as you explain them walks us back in time... Thank you uli.
😅☺️🙏🙏☺️🙏
Shout boss dame kong natutunan sa mga vlogs mo stay safe always boss sana marating koren po Lahat ng napuntahan mo boss hehe stay safe always boss
Another must see interesting video that tells wonderful stories on how great Philippines was. Some older people I came across when I was young vividly remembers La Insular factory. They said that when you are about to enter Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz, the smell of sweet tobacco will surely enter your nostrils as the La Insular stands majestically beside the church. They also said that before Marlboro came, La Insular was the most popular brand because of its exquisite sweet taste that even kids as early as 8 years old smoked. At that time the dangers of selling cigarettes to minors is not realized and most importantly the health hazards it imposes.
Wow thanks for the information.
Good job
Really like your segment of " Noon at Ngayon".. At least nalalaman Namin Ang mga places na Yan .Mga historical talaga..Gandang panoorin Lalo nayung mag mahilig sa history NG Pilipinas. Thanks sa sharing God bless you always. 💕💕
☺️☺️☺️
I enjoy watching your videos bro, keep it up, mahilig din kasi ako sa history.
🙏🙏🙏☺️

🙏🙏🙏
Nice one...thank you for sharing...
Thank you too
Sir Fern, thank you sa mga vlogs mo. Napakamakabuluhan. More power and stay safe.
🙏🙏
I'm an avid lover of stories about historical places......I hope that you can feature more historical documentaries all around our country.......congrats...God bless you.....
Hi sir KYT good afternoon everyone grabe linis na ang maynila.marami pala ang old building's sa lungsod ng maynila na ngayon ko lng nlaman dahil sa iyong vedio or vlog tnks po.may cigarette factory pa dyan.ingat po lagi God Bless
😅☺️🙏🙏
I choose the old plaza because it was surrounded with beautiful outstanding and breathtaking building the pyramidal monument you just past by inside the plaza is a monument dedicated to Damian Domingo the noted Filipino Chinese who is known for his best work in Painting and Illustration using water color in the 19th century the central bank has the best collection of his work so let's wait if the Central Bank will hold another exibition on their art collection it was back in the 80's the last time they held exibition in the National Museum
☺️🙏🙏
thanks for this video
naalala ko Meron school Jan malapit s Binondo along CMRecto. interesting Tondo High and JASantos and kung ano Ang dating nakatayo sa Lucky Chinatown
Thank you for showing Manila in the past and today. Go on with your good works.
Gawa ka naman before and after ng yuchengo plaza para lalo ma appreciate ng lahat kung gaano ichura dati sa ngayon
MAGANDA NOON ANG PLAZA KAY SA NGAYON THANK YOU AGAIN SIR FERN. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏☺️☺️
Great as ever! 🤗👍👍 God richly bless and keep you with His Divine Protection each day, be greatly blessed with His travel mercies as you leave home and till you get back home from such highly educated travel tours, from time to time!!! 🤗❤️🙏❤️🤗👍
Present
Amazing .. it's a beauty done Not sore to the eyes anymore that was long time ago .. 👌👌👍👍👍👍❤️
Super Big Fan here Fern! Always looking forward to your stories. Laking Chinatown me kaya natuwa me nung napanood ko yung mga history sa Manila pati mga sinehan at iba pang lugar. More power! God bless!
The Project you are mentioning along Quintin Paredes is Columna Project by Filinvest Land Inc. .. The old facade was fully restored from the old building to maintain the historical value of the previous building, as mandated by the National Historical Commission of the Phil. and with the cooperation of the developer, FLI... Anyway, C-E Construction Corp. is the General Contractor of the Column Project...
More Uploads, Sir. God bless.
NOON AT NGAYON/ The Hotel de. Oriente, La Insular Cigar & Cigarette Factory.Fern, Maraming Salamat SA maganda mong update.
😅☺️🙏🙏🙏
Always looking forward for your new videos.
another view on history , thank you sir fern !
☺️🙏🙏
Thank you for posting this story. Bec my aunt was 20 yrs old before the WWII began and she's still alive and telling stories whenever we come on vacation. I also spotted when you were walking sa tulay...that partly round building...that always fascinate me when I was a kid... kung ano yun kapag dumadaan kami. But I vividly remember there used to be a printed name "Capilitan" on its side. And that was my landmark na nasa Jones bridge/Escolta na kami 😊 Thanks again for sharing.
Laguna host marami rin baka mapasyal ka😁😁
oo nga no amazing
Thank you again for another excellent docu-vlog. Thank you for your work researching the subjects. I am a history buff myself so I am always interested in seeing places Then & Now. I try to imagine what and how it was like during the times of my parents and grandparents. It's nostalgic, and maybe, things were better then.
I also have to say that the mayor of the City of Manila, Mayor Domagoso has done an excellent, excellent job in not only cleaning the city but also in trying to restore it to its former glory. I hope the mayor continues his excellent work and continues to be mayor of the former capital city of the Pearl Of the Orient Seas, The Philippines.
I have never appreciated its beauty before because it was all blight, and as you said, it was downright scary and dangerous to be in those areas. I hope to be able to visit and appreciate all these beautiful places in Manila.
☺️🙏🙏🙏
Thanks bro... reminiscing the past and present by historical facts...salute...
☺️🙏🙏
I looooooove history! Subscribed!
😅☺️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
ganda ng historical brainstorming!!
iloveit❤️Nostalgic
Oo Fern try mo Sincerity yung Fried Chicken niya kakaiba lasa at yung Oyster cake.
Nice cge matry nga next time
Ganda talaga ng Manila during prewar. Me nagsasabi na Paris of the East pa ang turing noon.
Yes
Ka tubero yung walled city o tinatawag na intramuros bka pwede gawan nyo ng video,I like the content of your youtube channel. gusto yung lumang mga kwento noong panahon pa ng kastila,
Hello 👋
FORT SANTIAGO czcams.com/video/Ot_rarTwxBE/video.html
Another request: How about history of early times or start of movie making by Filipinos and stars and what happened to them. Movie stars now are paid huge amounts of money and live comfortably. I heard though that Carmen Rosales who was very popular during her time lived poor after. Thanks again.
This is a remarkable to know that there were a historical hotel de oriente & la insular cigar. Sayang yung mga bldg. Thanks Titser Fern!👍😄👏
☺️🙏🙏
Magaling ang research mo
I really appreciate your vlog sir Fern pareho tayo ng likes historical places yun bang nai magine mong andon ka ng time na iyon tapos kasama ka na nakuhaan ng picture then thinking an kaya ang naging buhay nila after the picture was taken..good job keep the good work up.
Just a walking distance away past binondo bridge. Its also an important piece of our history. The place where the mother of Rizal died and where Rizal's remains where kept before it was taken and buried in Luneta.
KAANAK NI RIZAL

I am very familiar with that place because i worked at the Manufacturer’s Bank and Trust Co. for 16 yrs 1963 to 1979 In Ilaya Street…
Hello there madam, wow talaga po? nice☺️☺️
Congrats to your wonderful vloging. 👍
Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz, the white obselisk is the Memorial for Phil-Chinese Martyrs of WW2(Pacific War) behind the Ruiz statue
That's a good to know for today's genZ
So old classic Manila very interesting History during Spanish and American era.
Big THANK YOU as always. Another excellent, truly interesting vlog. Sana the same people responsible for Las Casas de Acuzar would build another replica of Hotel De Oriente and situate it nearby its original spot. I'm sure many a history buff would want to stay there.
Life Theater at Capitol Theater, the facades should be maintained on the lower floors. Madali namang I reconstruct ang facades
Boss I hope you can go down south and feature some historical places in Visayas and Mindanao
Too far for me boss, siguro kapag wala na si covid
Ang Sta. Cruz Church, dapat alisin yung puro kable ng Meralco, very eyesore.
Thank you na marami, sinusubaybayan ko ang mga vlog mo to be honest nagustohan ko ang mga ito 2nd ko na itong makita " noon at ngayon."
☺️🙏🙏
Sana magawan mo ng kwento Ang Pinakamatandang Kalye sa Pilipinas sa Cebu Ang Colon Street.
Daming sinira Ang giyera nuon nakakapanghinayang.
Mayaman sa history ang maynila talaga. Good day sa lahat ng viewers

Sir interms of history and your channel parang ang sarap mag karoon ng time machine. And sir no offend lang po ahh pero parang mas maganda po looks ng Manila way back 1800 compared to now .
Ah oo nman sir mas maganda noon
Siyempre the old one
Never new that the Philippines was such a big producer of tobacco.
I know right heheh
Appreciate your kind of story-telling very infromative and entertaining aswell. Great Job! This is one of the good channels in Phil CZcams😍
😅☺️☺️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank u
Hi sir im ruben bonus fr pandacan now lives in antipolo , if you just walk a little farther from central st you will find another historical place the jacinto zamora plaza (of gomburza fame) it was rebuilt by the city of manila govt in honor of padre zamora thanks .

Throwback old memories.early 70's dyan ako nagi stay sa juan luna sa binondo during vacation sa school..restaurant ng tiyahin ko na tinayo nila after ww2..sadly bago mag 80's nag closed na ang resto kase tinayuan ng Metrobank Building na yan sa tapat ng plaza .good old memories nung bata pa ako kalesa ang sinasakyan namin nuon going to divisoria at ongpin.
Really in manila ? Now it’s jeepney taxi …buses …
@@alicecruz4926 yes inabot kopa during 70's kalesa ang means of transport sa manila..mangilan ngilan lang ang taxi that time..at ang bus na bumibyahe ay ang famous "Love Bus"(blue bus).

Only love watching this guys blog about the past and now
Philippines had lots of natural resources that needed to be developed so citizens won’t travel for greener pastures
Just the weather so hot humid
They should be planting trees.
