Privileged lucky people. I wish every one of them did something useful for humanity in Nepal or for the mountain.
They actually are helping Nepal. These climbers employe a large percentage of Nepalese guides. These guides wouldn’t have the skills to earn much money otherwise. Many expeditions fund local charities as well, and the Nepalese government makes a boatload off of unlimited permits.

Did they reach the summit as the sun was about to set? Wouldn't that be past the important 2pm turnaround time? Yet on their descent shows broad daylight. Perhaps the reached the summit just after dawn? But then that would mean they ascended during the night, but ascension also seems to be during broad daylight.

They should be more honest and build a proper hotel at basecamp with indoor plumbing and a proper restaurant. That would eliminate much of the sanitation, stomach virus, and waste issues. People can start camping at camp 1.
It's not supposed to be a posh... If you can't handle peeing in a bottle then stay home....
@@paolaj4862 I saw lots of pictures of luxury tents with TV and internet. That inspired my comment to just be honest about it instead of doing this glamour camping. These tents are often left behind along with litter etc. The hotel will be easier to manage and be more honest what it is.

Look at the garbage and litter at summit. Such govt allows such mountaineers to climb summit for some money. This is what mountaineers do to mountains. Its a big shame.

What a mess and a big shame around the pristine wilderness with traffic of climbers, Everest is not a challenging mountain to climb anymore, why not climb Annapurna-I, II, and III, as well Makalu,
Kanchenjunga which is 20 times more challenging than Everest.
Seeing such a crowde in summit there in no time even to sit for 2 mts after seeing this video i think everest will be big mountain of garbage from these climbers including their waste in 4 or 5 years 280 dead bodies still laying there nepal govt should ban or limit only 10 or 20 people per year to climbe the hill otherwise ban uptu 8 years all climbing clean hill it s like our mysore dasara procession seeing such huge crowde nepal govt should think before giving permission
Too many ppl climb Everest without realizing without the Sherpas doing all the heavy lifting and supplying oxygen, they ride on the backs of Sherpas.
As for the litter problem i find it disgusting, the Nepalese worship those mountains, too many inexperienced climbers and too many ppl caused the latest fatality recently on the Hilary step.
It's like looking at a fairground attraction with queues of ppl waiting. Why don't ppl try K2 or Kangchenjunga or Lhotse or Makalu,? They're all the top 5 highest peaks.
