I think it’s better if you give birth in hospital because if something goes wrong the doctors are there to help right away
If there is no risk for the mother and the child, home birth is possible, better if the ones having the baby are very near a hospital. However, if it's not, better not give birth at home...
It really depends on so many factors, like if there's more than one child, pregnancy complications, etc.

I think hospitals are better because at the doctors know what to do and they assist you helping you give birth but some home births can be safe it just depends on the factors and circumstances. Giving birth at home is not safe if you have an abusive husband like the protagonist did in this video.

Seriously it is common sense to go to the hospital if your seeking medical help he must lack that and I’m glad he can’t go near her or the baby he deserved it.

Charlie is a PSYCOPATH! he could have killed the baby and his wife! That is no way to treat a woman when she's in labour. I thought that pizza guy would never notice her but it's mindblowing that he had a plan all along. Charlie doesn't deserve a daughter or a wife. He deserves to go to prison.

Charlie should have gone to prison after the end of the story since he almost cause his wife and their unborn baby's life all because he prefer his family old religious traditions of giving birth rather than take her to the hospital like most pregnant women🤰 do. Beside if you truly love someone then you should never put their lives in danger at all but Charlie did because he only care more about his family stupid traditions than his wife and their unborn baby's safety and to be honest he doesn't deserved to be a father to his daughter at all not after how he put his wife through hell.

No disputing that fact because what he chose to do is beyond taking an inhumane risk for his own wife and child, and sad to say not worth it for any reason whatsoever plus being low down as well, serious jail time for such a heinous act in the end run.

I saw what my wife went through for an hour before she got an epidural with our first baby, and I can't imagine a human enduring pain like that for the entire birth. With our second child she got an epidural ASAP and it was much more pleasant. She was in pain once it was all over and the epidural wore off but she was there for our child in a normal mental state. I really can't understand people not using modern medicine. What was super badass was that she refused tylenol after birth (to make sure it didn't make it into the milk) and was like yeah Russians don't do tylenol.
Home birth comes with risks. This is why there's a medical doctor and/or nurse there at the house with them. I've seen videos (non-graphical) on CZcams about home birth, but none of them were without that medical professional. The ones without the planned home birth were situations where a) the woman didn't know she was pregnant (it DOES happen), or b) the mother couldn't get to the hospital and the ambulance or whomever didn't get there in time.
But this was a deliberate case of a man putting his wife and child in danger for no good reason. I'm glad the courts made it impossible to be near them.

My 6 year old grandson was a home birth but my daughter had already had two daughters in hospital. She asked me to be there to support her. She was under the care of a doctor and also getting advice from the midwives who were going to come and deliver the baby. A home birth is fine if you have midwives to assist you. They are very experienced and know when something is not right and will call for an ambulance if necessary. The husband was an ignorant, arrogant bully who had no interest in the welfare of his wife or the baby.
"My mother and grandmother did..."- is not valuable argument. People are different, also fatal disases from past may be nowadays curable. Also people in past live withoth hot water in pipes, clean clothers- do we want it as "tradition"?

Home births aren't necessarily a bad thing. Plenty of trauma and health issues are caused by hospital births. It's honestly up to the mother.

I don’t know why he didn’t take his wife to the hospital when it was clear something was wrong with the baby. He could have killed his wife and child with his family childbirth traditions.
