It’s very sad that nightmare was so young and went though that much before becoming who we all know him as now. Only if Nightmare had someone to be able to help him in that time maybe it would’ve have changed 😢

This is actually a really good reason why I can relate to him and love him even if he no longer feels that love. I don’t wanna get too personal but I was treated differently by other people as well as him. It was what made me interested in him the most. Being misunderstood and bullied but in different ways for both of us.

He was nothing but a monster is nothing but a monster he killed nim. And trapped his own brother dream for 300 years. Castral wing Thought for a moment. She remembered nightmares cries of desperation. And how no one came until it was too late. How he was left alone, so utterly alone. Remembered his pain she remembered her pain. She knew what it was like to be alone and she wouldn't let any being feel that ever again if she could help it. Her eyes turned Light purple No, she roared. With tears in her eyes. What do you want me to admit that he was wrong? What he did was wrong.

What's sad is...he still dies. Corrupted and Passive are two separate entities. Passive died - Dream's brother is dead. The only reason Corrupted uses the name "Nightmare" is to confuse Dream. But, really, Nightmare is dead in canon. He died when he was six and Corrupted consumed what was left of him. Possessed his body. Dreamtale really is truly heart wrenching. It's painful.
