DOUBTED is a mini-movie series featuring inside looks at the stories of overlooked, under-recruited, and players at the highest level who overcame skepticism that they would succeed. This episode showcases the NBA story of Oklahoma native Trae Young. Trae Young is someone that I've been rooting for as a Hawks fan obviously over the few years that he's been in Atlanta so far. Not only as a hawks fan but as a fan of basketball, it joys me to see Trae persevere in the NBA despite his size and continue to prove his doubters wrong. This episode will also take you through this year's NBA playoffs where Trae managed to really break out and change a lot of narratives surrounding him.

@@Maddenking77 I agree with all your points. Trae just has the "it" factor. He had a way of elevating himself and his team in big moments. The last two games of the series could have gone either way, and I think Trae being healthy would have tipped it in the Hawks favor. But that's neither here nor there, bucks won, so props to then. I'm just excited what the future holds for the Hawks.

I adore Trae, and I adore his emotional makeup too, but I really hope he can find a way to desire to be great on D. All about desire
He improved his defense this past season but he definitely still needs work in that aspect. That said, I think Trae has the potential to be an all-time great. Man this video got me really emotional. Hawks did the best thing they could do choosing Trae instead Luka, Trae was made for Atlanta, dude. And this little guy is just starting, for real. I love him and I hope to see him shine so fucking much in NBA.

Nah Luka is way better. Only one who lost in this draft trade was Luka. Mans talents are being wasted in a team that won’t surround him with talent. He averaged 34,10,8 and still lost to clippers. Man needs help

I’ll never forget he struggled in summer league & his first nba game ever in the garden was a shit show , the media overreacted , the fans overreacted , immediately calling him a bust . I wasn’t worried one bit he was just adjusting, went crazy in the 2nd half of his rookie season , few years later taking us to the ecf & looking to get back and further . Atlanta , we got our superstar for years to come .. now let’s build a contender around him 💯

When we drafted Trae, I went out and got season tickets. I watch a lot of basketball and while I didn’t know anymore about Luka than the average fan, I 100% knew Trae was perfect for Atlanta. This is just the beginning
I think Dallas and Atlanta struck gold on their picks. But Doncic was never doubted, they pretty much embraced him on day one. Atlanta is sold out most games because Trae Young is on the team. That’s a huge success. I’m always rooting for him 🙏 I love his confidence and it translates on the court.
