okay so, while waiting for the premiere i’ll just share a story na lagi kong naalala every time this song plays.
so ayon when i was in 9th grade, may PE class kasi kami non na kailangan sumayaw partner by partner (nakalimutan ko na yung topic hahaha) tapos ako, of course nag expect na ako na yung mga gay friends ko lang yung mag sasayaw sa akin. well, first of all i’m fat, ugly and hindi approachable. but unexpectedly itinulak sa akin ng mga classmates ko yung crush ko, that time. syempre, i was so happy that i can’t even memorized the steps.
but i know something’s off, umpisa pa lang. ramdam kong pinadidirihan ko niya ako. he doesn’t even want to hold my hand, nor touch my waist. sumusunod lang kami sa rythm pero wala halos ayaw niya ako hawakan. expected ko naman na yun, sa kagaya ko. and after the practice umiyak na lang ako with my friends at kinabukasan nagdahilan na lang ako na sasali sa isang extra curricular activity and chose not to participate the first dancing activity.
kaya every time na maririnig ko yung song na ‘to, or ipi-play ko, nasasaktan talaga ako. some of y’all probably thinking of someone who will slow dance with you sa song na ‘to and i can’t even think of anyone who will dance with me someday.

He introduced me to this song last month. LDR bestfriend ko siya noon pa, and I fell hard without telling him. He was my rest, lahat ng problema ko siya pinagsasabihan ko. Umabot sa point na tinake ko ‘yung risk at umamin ako sakaniya. He felt the same, it was unexpected. Parehas kami ng nararamdaman pero hindi kami, hindi naging kami. Ulap was part of the playlist he made. Ngayon, wala na kahit friendship namin kasi sobrang daming nangyari.
