that would be huge and smart if it were true... but, we all know Valve well... they are not many in numbers, they r lazy ppl who prefer to optimize everything And (That's the most important) They prefer LOVE new projects more than their "old children", if you know what I mean. They dared to work and release both CS2 and Compendium For Ti12 on the same day, and what did they achieve with that? lots of criticism, bugs and long-term work with this models of business, something around 1 to 2 years in the future only with these 2

If a dota 3 would exist it would probably something that is lore/story heavy single player (preferrably plays like the latest God of War).. and if it's gonna be a multiplayer it most likely will still play like the latest God of War but team-based (with goal having to destroy the ancient ofc) All in all it will exist along with dota 2 for gamers that doesn't like the MOBA format but is interested on the lore/characters

I would be more intrigued by the Neon Prime (Valve new Project with Ice Frog) and its possible relations to the great confluence (Dota 2 conspiracy which will merge several franchises Like Dota1/2, HoN, DragonBlood and maybe more into one) that is to come

Why is dota called dota 2, this is so confusing, when my friend tell me lets play dota, i assuming dota allstars (dota1) in warcraft 3 engines but i was wrong he referring dota2, why not be specific like dota 2 instead. If it is a sequel why is legion commander a female version in dota 2 while dota 1 is male version, is this a sequel or remake. Plus i search in the google where dota 2 is the sequel of dota mod in warcraft 3 reign of choas which means its not prequel in dota allstars (dota1), the original dota in wc3 reign of chaos created by eul, so that's why it called dota as dota2
