JT was channeling his inner Dennis Rodman/Barkley or Moses Malone with 19 rebounds... Oh my. Great from the line too as we had a bad night of FT's as a team. Happy we got the W but really really wanted to see us beat them by 20 or 30

Glad JT in these last 2-3 years has learned to affect the game a lot even if his shot isn’t falling. That’s another reason he’s become a superstar instead of a really good young player, rebounding playmaking etc
Had a bad half and some silly TOs. Good thing Al and Rob made the Celtics stay in the game. Made some clutch shots late in the game though and perfect from FTs so yeah. 19 rebounds is a good number as well.

I'm usually critical of the games that jayson can't throw it in the ocean, but he found a way tonight and I like that from him very ugly game but willed us over the top along side jaylen,al, Rob and brogdon

Gotta give Tatum some credit when it’s due. He had his revenge game despite the turnovers and chucking up threes. But he held his own and really came out against a warriors team who plays insane defense on him💯
What a game Celtics kept turning the ball over so many times but they beat the warriors still on top of the league we need to continue to win games to stay on top of the league

That lineup at the end of the 4th, and in OT should be the finishing lineup in the playoffs. Smart, Brogdon, Brown, Tatum, and Horford. You can substitute Horford for Time Lord depending on the matchups.
I'll take the ugly win. Tatum had some nasty TOs at the end but, overall he did good . He could've checked out mentally and stayed the course with the rest of the guys. Still #1

If he would stop chucking 10+ threes every game and turn some of those 3pa into midrange or postups he’d bring his ppg & fg% up. He’s too good to be settling for all those 3’s & he’s almost automatic in the midrange/post.
And that’s why he isn’t my MVP. Guys like luka know exactly how to attack smaller teams. That’s why he kills the warriors almost every time. Tatum is 6’8 230 and afraid of telling his teammates to clear out and iso curry or poole in the post. Worst case at that point is draymond comes off to help and Rob is left open with a oop.
@@jmlclarke99 Luka does not kill the Warriors no more than Tatum has he loss to the same team in the playoffs to and Luka gets way more calls in his favor than Tatum that's why his numbers may look slightly better but JT plays much better defense!!
7 TO and sloppy makes me worried. because he’s our superstar and it starts with him setting the tone. but glad he led the W nonetheless

Win or lose the celtics fans always criticised especially on tatum of bandwagon fans of celtics..if not his points productions did they win the games tho??? Its very annoying those fans saying jt played worst.. Why not jzt take the W.. Instead
@@diosdadobanyaga391 You have to be honest with how horrible those 3 TOs were at the end of regulation, he almost cost us the game. If Tatum is to become the star we want him to, he needs to be poised in those moments.
We won, yes, but it was ugly. Need him to clean up on that if we’re to go forward.
@@CptRexFilms987654321 I agree with but I have to say that Tatum is already improved on turnovers. Right now, statistics at hand, he's the all star player with the least turnovers (2.6). I think that it's just the Warriors that know better than amy other team how to make things difficult for him
