  • The reeducation camps in Xinjiang, where the Chinese government is wiping out the Uyghur people are starting to come to light. China is reacting with a terrible coverup, and forcing Uyghur people to have interviews to say how amazing their lives are, and how the west is wrong about the allegations of forced labor, and the other atrocities happening.

Yeah it is. It's such a shame all the energy that goes into lying. Once it spreads beyond the fools eyes it's just like any other lie, the bigger it is, the more of a contrast it has to what it's covering over, makes it that more repulsive.
It's also a shame how humanity is stifled under Communism. One can make an argument that struggle builds character, but this type of forced order is more insidious than that. It attempts to form your very character, restricting it by giving it margins, destroying the access to free will. You aren't 'you' without free expression and what character it nurtured.
A benevolent and free china could really make things genuinely good for humanity.

Like travelling by car is the sign of a good place to live and that us in the West are going to go "oh wow a car! I do that too! that's what we find important about life!!". There's just no self awareness, it's like they're saying "look we let them learn their own language, how good are we?" not realising that is probably wouldn't even occur to someone in the West that the government would even dare to tell you that you can't learn a language...

@Tian Wong even if they are going to school by car it’s more normal for country people to go to school on a bike. And the CCP was responsible for keeping China poor in the first place. Mao Zedong was the worst leader in history yet he is still on the money.

    • @lost4468yt
      @lost4468yt Před 3 lety +8

@Tian Wong >"Now thanks to the CCP, they can go to school by car."
Yeah the CCP relaxed the stupid economic rules *they* created, so more people had access to cars. The CCP removed the disgusting rules banning civilians from driving, so now people can drive.
The CCP mostly just got out of the way. Did the CCP buy her her car? No the market did that, and she bought it out of the money from her hard work.
This is exactly what I mean, look at the lack of self-awareness from the CCP in this. They're acting as if "I can drive" is in anyway something to be proud of, or even worse the "I can learn my own language".
The CCP don't even realise that these aren't things Westeners are going to go "oh wow what freedom". Because in the West it's none of the governments fucking business what language you are allowed to learn. I can learn any language I want, if the government told me I couldn't learn anything I would tell them to get fucked.
The CCP is disgusting. Just look at this forced media campaign for that. If you aren't committing a genocide you don't force people to make videos going "oh my god I love my country", seriously it's so stupid. Everything she listed is meaningless if the CCP is committing a genocide against them.
The CCP does not care at all for anyone's personal liberty. There's no real free media in China, the internet is extremely censored, it's ridiculous. Can you access information about Tiananmen Square? No. Can you lobby for democracy? No. Can you criticize and make fun of politicians? No. It's a surveillance state where the government tries to control everything you do.
      >"And yes, Australia is prosecuting them. The "Them" in question refers to the soldiers that called out the offences, not the perpertrators. We only don't call ourselves out because we done nothing wrong. "
Oh god get a grip. Do you honestly believe that China does nothing wrong? If so why does the Chinese government censor the internet? Why can you not find information and media about Tiananmen Square or plenty of other things? Why does China disappear people all the time? What about what they're doing to Hong Kong?
The CCP is literally committing genocide and atrocities at the moment, and you're saying they don't do anything wrong? Really?
You're brainwashed. Much of China is. China needs to wake up to the disgusting and dangerous entity that is the CCP. The CCP is not equal to the citizens of China, you need to understand that, and that criticism of the CCP is not criticism of the people of China.

CCP: You haven't been to Xinjiang! You have no proof to crticize this beautiful land!
US: Ok. Then can we come and conduct a thorough investigation as what you claimed?

@Pangpi Dawang Can they criticise the government though? like you know broadcasting your protest and make a whole fundraising campaign about it. T shirts and merch, all that stuff in china, can you? Deadass they made a autonomous region and the government didn't squash them with tanks, Tianm- cough.
