This dog was actually a mythical guard dog named cerberus to protect the gates of hell in greek mythology

Honestly my favorite was Hite. I feel like the concept was easily something that could fit Minecraft’s aesthetic.

I liked his first version of hite, makes it look like ancient, long forgotten, magic golem
I wish it had more texture to it to age it and I wish it walked incredibly slowly and shook the map just by its sheer *heft*

I loved the Aquatic Recinimon. Probably the best of the video, and the oceans and rivers could use a large threat like that. Always felt like there was something missing there

@Noxi🤑 Programmers don't have any higher opinions than anyone else when it comes to design lmao, they're coders, and a lot of coders I've met have extremely simplified color and style preference. If you don't believe me, look at the color choices IT people in the furry fandom choose vs the designs non-IT people make, the difference is extreme.

The mobs were all good but the Pumpkin Head should have had more abilities than just summoning, like shooting pumpkins or fire or something to give cover to his minions. Also they were right about how cool it would have been for the Hide to actually rip open part of the ground but that could be a bit difficult to code.

Another great idea is you could have the mobs fight each other. Call it Mob Pit. A play on Mosh Pit.
Your models are gorgeous! Ive been a 2d artist for a long time and just recently got into 3d modelling, and your ability to convey shape language with your models is AMAZING, definitely some of the best models I have ever seen. Anyone who says otherwise is probably obsessed with minimalism and cant appreciate other artstyles if they dont line up with their preferences.
You are definitely professional and the mobs all look SO SICK.

I like the artstyle you use for your mobs. This one puts the detail into the model rather than the texture. It also rounds alot of areas and it has 80% more cubes than official mobs do.

hite was actually very amazing, some 3d details on him and 1 or 2 extra skills would make him one of the best custom boss
Great job as usual! This is purely my ambitious imagination, but it looks like the Hite and its minions would be more difficult to fight, the Earth Golems look like they could make magical waves of the damaging amethyst energy that would sweep along the ground, but you could dodge it if you use jump boost potions, making them more useful in the game, but if you tried to tower up with blocks, it could shape its magically hanging fingers into a shovel or pickaxe shape, mining the blocks you used. The Hite, if it died from fire, it would ressurect as a netherrack version that would mimic the shape of a blaze, hurling its now warped or crimson trees at you, doing more damage than before. You would be only able to damage the Hite and the Earth Golems with a pickaxe, as both are made of grass and moss-topped stone.
Its a shame these kinds of things don't release as proper mods, these mobs are many leagues ahead of the kinds of things you find on Curseforge.

I think you should have added a power to throw several crows that do damage, in pumpkin head. It could even give negative effects like blindness.

I love how expressive that you can make these custom mobs! Doing a better job than mojang themselves (although with the work schedules and crunch times microsoft gives them its not that hard)
I like how some of these drawings you can tell are drawn by small children and brought to life
They are all 10 out of 10. I just love their models and dude this animation is super cool. I loved the most earth golem and dyno. Darn, someone needs to headhunt you into these big AAA game studios!
they're good models on their own but they don't fit into minecraft very well, they're too detailed

@@PosterityIslesNews well, that's a point for discussion. I think that the greatest thing about Minecraft (and similar games) is that they are providing a room for creativity and creativity doesn't have settled rules, it's kinda form of art where everything is relative. I personally like more detailed things as well as everything I was building up inside the game were pretty complex (I were building sorta Moria from lotr).
@@PosterityIslesNews Yeah, i think most modded creatures are way too detailed. Don't get me wrong they are really cool, i just think they would be better if they looked more like vanilla minecraft creatures. That's just my opinion tho.

The Cubris got judged as not being a good fighter, when they had not gotten to fight anything yet, lol.

You could befriend him with flowers and saplings (be pending on biome) and you could build and live on him like a giant moving island. If he doesn’t like your offerings he will actively try to destroy to.
If he’s low on health you can feed him like pebbles and cobblestone
He can’t swim (cause rock)

On one hand, I respect the effort. On the other hand - there are actual pumpkins in minecraft. There are actual skeletons in minecraft. Having these things next to what you've made... Well. The difference is pretty stark.
Not saying it's a good or a bad thing, but it is a very different artstyle.
Please do not stop making these videos, they're absolutely fantastic!
The Hite could completely be at vanilla Minecraft.
Since the overworld doesn't have really any "boss" like Nether with the Wither or the End Dimension with the Ender Dragon (as far as I know), pretty sure it would fit nicely into the game.

Dude...ur work is awwsome 10/10...but try to reduce making a minions for every boss mob u've made...u could make other type of power/skillw to replace it like...decay skill around the mob and i'll give some attack to a player in some range...it'll be great
I think you could add an extra attack to the pumpkin head where he hits you with his staff or he can shoot the magic from his hand which was on the photo they sent and it was blue I think?

It would be so cool if the body of the body of the hite wasn’t just blank stone, mabey add some ores to give it more texture
The only concern I have for this video is how long it took for Teras to make the models, the texture, and the coding without cooky ahoy
That was really cool! Those were some awesome mobs. Pumpkin Head was a little underwhelming because all it did was summon skeletons. It didn't have any of its own attacks. Its design was great though. All the designs were great in fact.
These videos are my favourite of yours to watch. Its always so cool to see this collaborative effort from many talented people.

Tbh pumpkin head had a lot more potential, it could’ve had a final form including a scythe and a change in moveset rather than just spawning countless skeletons, and spawning method including the staff and or the crystal atop the staff with the final form automatically turning day into night and the minions becoming more gruesome and decayed in looks and damage being increased.
You did such an amazing job at coding and designing these! I loved the hite and his minions!

Here's an idea (try making all the mobs you make have a spawn animation like Hite. well, that's if you want to but maybe it'll help with the rating and maybe some cool particals and animated stuff on the clothing or body part but that's all I got for now.)
He should make boss health bars
Idea #2 assigns each mob a number cost based on their strength. Then let each modder roll a die in a browser window to determine how many points they each get. Finally, each modded spends their points to build an army of mobs based on the total points they have versus the cost of each mob and they fight each other. Thinks TABS Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. Please like so they can see. ☺

They don't really fit into vanilla minecraft in my opinion. They are cool in their own right, but are very different from vanilla minecraft.
