ang lupit talaga ni jawo 28 pts in this cardiac game . buo ang loob a trademark of a true superstars. he can see the floor like steve nash he can swipe the ball like john stockton and he can take pressure freethrow like michael jordan. no wonder he can draw millions of fans. jaworski said "thank you Lord" when he made the freethrow. the most beautiful highlights of the game.
this era doesnt need a batallion of amazing displays of hoop acrobats but simply a few courageous souls and a heart of a winner that truly never dies. That's the legacy of of the Living Legend and the La Tondenas. Kudos! =)
ah ibang iba na talaga basketbal ngayon,na tanging si alvin patrimonio ang laro na uso hanggang ngayon,
lupet talaga ng tropang jaworski puso noon ginagamit sa laro' kaya sila tatay ko todo suporta sa anejo man or ginebra never say die!!!
If there was a finals MVP Jawo would have won it. He put the game into OT, clinched it with his free throws where Alvin kept missing. Stole the ball twice and clearly outplayed Jolas. And he was 42 years old here!! Amazing!!

I remember this game coz we saw it live, Jawo was just awesome in this game i think this was the last game wherein he dominated he had 28 pts and more than 10 rebounds several assists with some crucial steals. I hope u can upload the entire game. May malupit na post up play si big j against JV Yango, baseline drive si jawo the defense collapsed on him kaya at the last second sa ere he switched the ball sa kaliwang kamay foul si yango and 1 play for jawo!

ang highest paid nung mga panahon na to kung di ako nagkakamali si samboy lim,mga 90,000 php. yung mga player ng anejo/ginebra ang mga lowest paid nun sa pba except jaworski.sa mga advertisment naman sila bumabawi.grabe kasikat yung dondon ampalayo nung araw.

Eto yung panahon na kaming mga bata nun mga maka Purefoods kasi mga gwapings at puro young guns tapos mga nakakatanda namin mga maka Anejo/Ginebra dahil kay Jawo, oldschool at tough basketball.😎
Memorable game. I recorded this on VHS way back when. I think I still have that somewhere. Even now watching this is exciting. Some of the best moments of the PBA certainly.

I have watched this live on TV. Im á die hard Ginebra fan and I think this was the best game of Jaworski as a Ginebra player except probably yung 1985 game vs NCC na nasugatan siya at bumalik sa laro and nanalo sila. Considered as the birth of the NSD mantra. Pero ngayon ko lang napansin na wala palang point guard and Purefoods down the final 2 mins. Ang nag popoint guard si Padim Israel and definitely he is not a point guard.

this was the time when mon fernandez was falsely accused of game-fixing which resulted with him being benched from game 2 onwards. the result proved to be catasthropic for purefoods. mon fernandez was later proclaimed the most valuable player for 1988 and hi 4th unprecedented MVP title. KARMA for purefoods! lol!

But I consider myself still lucky kasi nakita ko yung times na si Coach Sonny yung leader nila.. Not the best tactian and did not have the best line up but he is and will always be the greatest leader and motivator ..
