Love your videos. I love how you struggle with your plant babies like the rest of us. So many people only show their perfect plants. Hope you can conquer the thrips issue. I didn't have luck getting rid of them and they killed my Dumb Cane.
Hi Esmerelda! Thanks so much for the kind note. I learn so much from the comments I get on my videos, so it's definitely been beneficial for me to share my struggles lol. Yikes, sorry to hear about your dumb cane :(. Were you able to get some babies from it or have a cutting of it? I got thrips on my lime philodendron and was able to save some cuttings (although some of them are turning super yellow and not sure they'll develop roots...)
@@Botanibabies Yes Ingot anfew cuttings and jtnwas doing well but caught thrips again. I have one baby left. Fingers crossed. It was so big when I bought it. I had sprinkled the top soil with Diatamaceous Earth and would bottom water it. Sprinkled some in all the stems of the plant. It did work but then the trips came back. 😣 Keep up the great work.
Wow, I had no idea prayer plants did that - I've got one of those vines coming on mine and like you I just assumed it was an aerial root! So cool, thanks for sharing 😍
So cool, right?! I didn't think it would grow into a whole new plant. Let me know if you decide to cut yours! I'm going to hold off on cutting mine, I think... I want to see if more than 1 baby sprouts from it lol
