Good music always hits you in the soul, on a cellular level. These musicians give a part of themselves for their fans. No electronics at all!
Thanks once again for putting another 60s classic in my alert box. You make some great choices. What awesome voices this pair had, though they weren't very prolific. They were produced by the late, notorious Phil 'Wall of Sound' Spector, who was behind many early 60s hits and ended up dying in jail, where he was serving time for murder. Another good one by Bill and Bobby from the same period is 'Soul and Inspiration'. Bob passed away in 2003. Bill is still kicking and best known otherwise for his duet with Jennifer Warnes on 'The Time of your Life' from the 1987 hit movie 'Dirty Dancing', with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, daughter of Joel Grey, the MC in 1972's 'Cabaret'.
I've been to a lot of shows, but one of the most interesting was when I got to see Bill Medley (the tall one) sing this live, on the musical tour for the movie "Dirty Dancing", in the 80s. Great job, ladies! 😁👍
