  • Wide-ranging interview with Jim Pennock of DigiTech/DOD.
I lost camera 2 for a couple of minutes, but it comes back. I left the audio on because it was an important topic.

Great interview. Nice to have these insights into the way the phoenix was resurrected.
I have worked in the corporate world all my life, and my success came from seeing the business as my own, and the ability to put myself in the customers shoes.
The Freqout pedal is number one on my list, saving.
Please make these interviews a permanent fixture. I find the content extremely interesting. Thank you.

That was really cool! I worked with both of you guys for 17 years. I know a lot of this stuff, but it was Jim's insights into the roots of DOD/Digitech that I found so interesting. I am glad he had such passion and still does!! Great things come from people with both Vision AND Passion for what they are doing!! Go TEAM DOD/Digitech!!!! P.S. I think I need to go back and listen to some Sonic Youth!! haha!

John Johnson was thinking about purchasing Diditech not long ago, Glad you are bringing it back. I hope you continue with "Hardwire" Bypass on the pedals. Before I left Harmon I told Rob that when using multiple pedals in series the noise of active circuits in pedals not in use would become unbearable even with a noisegate in the chain. A year after I left I saw the first ad for Hardwire pedal series. So when a Pedal is not used in the chain the circuit would bypass the active componants into a trace straight to the output for the next link in the chain. Wish you guys the best !

Whoa someone having all the original code of the space station is huge! It’d be really cool to see something inspired of that.
Another fantastic interview, talking about the realities of the industry and the direction y’all are going forward with. Excited for what’s next!

We need you guys to build the ultimate RP with seamless patch changes, IR capable, and be phone app programmable because nobody wants to have to kneel or bend over or bust out the pc or laptop to tweak presets while performing/rehearsing.
