Tutorial how to troubleshoot samsung vacuum cleaner 1800w sc18m2120sb not turning on after submerged in water. -- initially it was able to switch on after drying up the machine electronic and motors. However after a couple of weeks unused the machine suddenly just dead.
Upon troubleshooting found out that the carbon brush was stucked in its holder due to rust built up. It completely seized leaving up gaps between the carbon brush and the motor which eventually prevent it from turning on.

Ok video, but how old was that Samsung VC?just bought myself a new one and didnt buy the extra year waranty on the motor

It was about 2 years.. But unfortunately floods kills it eventually as the salt water corroded the motor coils... If u you this just for home it would last quite a number of years... Should be long enough that you would expect it... Hopefully..
