Glad I could help! I am going to try making another one on the Uvular technique. I am learning more about it!

Iwamoto uses uvula. Far more subtle and can be used with very few air. Once mastered, it gives the best possible control in terms of rolling speed and sound color.

Some flute players can do it super well and it sounds beautiful. For myself, I have never really got it to where I want it so I just use a regular flutter.

The good point with uvula, is that you can train while whistling! :D

@@TheBadoumba Great now I need to learn it. I am going to master this because as you can hear, mine is no good.

I couldn't do this dedede tongue movement. So I look the other people and practice it for the whole 3 days!! Now I can do it, but it doesn't matter :))
My Shakuhachi is 2.9, so I can't blow too much air in it if I want to have a tone! and I guess you can't do this dedede tongue movement whit a really slow flow of air.
So I'm using the second option, but it doesn't sound cool...
By the way, you channel and the way you explain everything is the BEST! 本当にすごいね
    ありがとう

There is another option I learned recently as well which is even further back in the throat and it really sounds cool in the lower octaves. I may do another video on that later.

@@TairyuShakuhachi By the way, did you deleted your Instagram?
You told me once there, I shouldn't start with the Long Versions...
Can I ask you why is that? because I'm still haven't buy any and using the one that I borrowed (2,9)
I'm also afraid of buying it from Japan (Yozan), because it has to travel all the way from Japan to Germany... (I heard temperature changes is not good for the Bamboo)
And here the longer versions (Kyotaku) it's my only option!

I just sent out a couples flutes to France and to Israel. They had no problem whatsoever.

@@arashazarmgan4949 Instagram was a waste of time for me. as for flute sizes, it is best to start with a 1.8 to learn basic sounds and techniques. It takes time to learn how to control a long flute.

I think it depends on which language is your native, because we have "flutter tongue" sound as a letter "R" so you can learn it, but it is definitely way easier when it's already in your alphabet.

Yes same here as native Swedish speaker. We use tip of tounge lot on R’s too. While other language keep it back toward throat. Word like “Röv” (Ass in English) have a very rolling r.

LIKE DRum Roll, can these people that cannot do it have trouble to pronounce letter L and letter R.
We take speech lessons to learn to roll the needed position for these sounds.

I am learning the uvular technique right now. I will make a video on that later too once I have it down.
