Here in Ct, it has been very dreary, but I am just so thankful that we have rain. So many places, don’t! It’s going to be a beautiful week and Spring is in full bloom. Love the lights!
As far as laundry goes, when the kids were small, there was never a schedule. Lots of times, I would throw a load in after work, while I was cooking dinner.

As far as laundry... it is sometimes hard to keep up with and sort of hard to get a schedule but it gets done! Your love is lovely too!! I love those flowers by your door! It's super hot down here in South Texas where I live so I may have to buy some cactus to deal with this sun! :)
I can tell you laundry doesn't calm down until the kids are out of the house. We have maybe 3 loads a week for my husband and I. Secret: I miss all the laundry and craziness of the kids being at home.😊

I love those outdoor lights, they look so pretty and welcoming! I had 4 children and I felt like wash was a constant, never ending chore. My machines seemed to be running all the time. Now all of our children are grown and we are empty nesters doing 2 loads a week. It's easier but how I miss all of our kiddos living home and all of their friends here all the time. I guess it's the circle of life. ❤️Have a great week, so happy the sun is shining! 🌞
Same! We had 6 at home, now we're down to just 1, my tiny bit. He's 20, but he's still my tiniest bit. I miss those days also.

We need the rain so bad down here in Florida, but I know it's coming soon enough!
We're a family of 6. My husband and my laundry get washed on Mondays, Towels and our bed linens get wash Wednesdays. Our kids clothes get washed on Saturdays and my girls wash them. All their bedding gets done on Sundays and again they wash them. We are a busy traveling softball family so sometimes the kids clothes will be washed during the week if we have weekend tournaments.
I wish I could help you with the laundry, I struggled myself. I worked 45 to 55 hours a week. Our kids were not in sports but they were in Marching band, Band, choir, theater, readers Theater and other activities. It felt like we were always running like you and Danny do. I never complained. I loved attending all their activities.
My mother in law told be she tried to do two loads every day after work.
Someone suggested assigning them their own laundry to be done. I never had the guts to do that. I am a bit of a control freak and wanted those stains treated.

LAUNDRY: You could assign a day each week for each person in the house to do their own laundry. That's what we do with our six kids. That will be a big help for you, lady friend! Then you could do your own and the sheets/towels, etc.
That’s a great idea! It’s hard right now because everyone has somewhere to be most nights of the week but I think with some creative planning, it could work!
We did that when our children hit 15, 14 & 12- just too much laundry to get done when we parents had our days off. Each child also had their own bath towels in their choice of color (amazingly they all picked colors that coordinated with their bedding) that they washed with their jeans. All I had to do was the hubs and my laundry and towels and the sheets on my first day off. And we had a rotating chore schedule that included who had to get dinner made or help in the kitchen. On my days off (I work 4 9 hour shifts per week) I generally did it all on the first day off so everyone had a pass and homemaking gave and still gives me joy, and meals were all done by me on my days off (again joy). My husband made sure we all helped as a family to get things done so we could have fun on Sunday’s after church or even take a long weekend camping because we all lived in the home and we all made messes.
I wish had done that and I only had two kids…when they were in high school we had two foreign exchange students two different years.
I worked 45 to 55 hours every week. My kids are 39 and 42. I told them the biggest disservice I ever did was not insisting they help with chores.
My 8 year old brings her hamper to the laundry room and helps with the laundry. The other girls all do their own at this point.
At some point my kids realized if they wanted guaranteed choice of clothes, they had to be willing to help out. They do a great job pitching in now (20, 18, 16).
