the family part is relatable. I got a family member who lives pretty far away from the rest of their family and theyâre raising their kid pretty much alone.

My little family of 4 moved 800 miles away from my family 2 years ago, and though I do miss some of them, the family I created is much happier in our new state. I'll get easier, fraaaand â€!

I feel you on the mom haircuts. My Chinese mom did the same when I was younger, cut to her preferred length. However, she didnât know WTH she was doing. In third grade, it was supposed to be shoulder-length, got taken to the collarbone, and ended up below my chin and tapered around my head. At least the bangs werenât terrible. The last time I ever let her cut it was 5th grade and I asked my aunt to cut it for me.
I completely understand. Moved across the U.S 4 years ago with my little family of 4 and it's soooo hard not having family around to help. Eventually, you learn to accommodate, and the kids are happy regardless.

Itâs super hard to be away from family. Thatâs how it was when I was growing up. Thankfully we had a good church and there were good people who became close friends, so many of them were states were away from their families too. We took care of each other and became each otherâs support system.
I feel you. Weâre a military family, and 8 hours away is the closest we lived to home in the last 11 years. Our first duty station was overseas.
Daycare definitely helps out a lot!! My mom lives in the USA and I live in the Caribbean and it's so hard. COVID was especially hard when school closed cause I still had to go to work
An hourly daycare center sounds amazing! My mother is ill and my Korean in laws live in Korea. My husband and I have rarely had a babysitter. It is truly hard on parents! Daycare rates are insane now.
I am sure you will build up a network of friends in no time. You radiate such positivity and fun, and you are super down to earth
I don't have children or regularly eat in my car, but proudly to say I have both baby wipes and scissors in the car.
I totally understand where youâre coming from. We just moved from California to Texas last month and my husband and I are trying to juggle working with three little kids. It is tough since all my family lives in California, but better for the kids here than staying over there.
That's a great move from CA to Texas! I know you will enjoy your stay but maybe they will follow.

Living away from family is so hard. I moved across the country for school and hated being away from everyone. Pretty much fell out of touch with all my friends from home. Then after college we moved back to the midwest but still in another state from my family and it's just hard. Right now my dad is injured and getting surgery on Friday and my instinct is just like "I need to go over every day and help my mom out and clean her house and make sure she can destress" but it's a 4 hour drive and I work retail so.... I just have to feel helpless.

It is hard. We moved from California to Texas four years ago. That was all I ever knew. Still miss family, but thatâs what planes are for.

My boyfriend moved to TX last year and I live in PA. Itâs hard to maintain a long distance relationship, he tried to convince me to move to TX with him. I donât want to move, I want to be close to my family so we are at a breaking point in our relationship.
Is it a possibility for him to move to PA instead?
@@Someone-te3lb we had a fight in May, he said âIâll consider PAâ but I know he doesnât like PA. We talked about MD but he doesnât seem like heâs willing to move. He wants to live near Asian communities, he likes/loves Houston but keeps complaining about how hot it is there. I visited him in July and came home with heat rash on my face and neck.

I have family Iâve barely met.. I have tons of aunts and uncles I mightâve met once as a child but never again. My family is all spread out. Even my oldest sister and my nieces and nephew are out of state. Itâs crazy. I plan on staying as close to my mom as I can tho.

My fiancĂ© and I just did this over a week ago and tonight I finally had a break down missing home (previous one) which I was born and raised in. Like new place but doesnât feel like home yet

The best daycare out in Texas I found was gimme a break. It was the best drop in. By Johnson space center and Lockeheed. Martin clear lake area
we did the same thing except we do have family where we moved to but have different political beliefs. So once they found that out we were never invited to gatherings. All of my best and oldest friends that is more like family is 600+ miles away. I am thinking seriously about moving back.

So we live where we know many ppl but if your parents arenât helpful or if you donât wanna ask friends for help itâs the same as living in the middle of nowhere with no help.

Yes, it's hard being away from family. I'm intrigued about the daycare. That sounds amazing but how does your youngest handle it? My toddler is soooo attached to me so I feel like that would be traumatizing for her.

I just moved to Texas with my husband last month after living in Michigan my entire life! (My husband is a native Texan) and itâs been amazing but also like when I want to go see someone I realize oh right Iâm sooo far. Weâre slowly getting active in the community to meet people but itâs so nerve wrecking
Military families understand this well haha but donât worry itâs gets easier as the kids get older :)

Yeah you got to be careful in Texas CPS will come and take your kid claiming your poor and stuff or even that you're not spending enough time with your children it's so crazy out here I have absolutely no family and could not even afford daycare and so I was taking my kid to work with me at 2 years old and CPS got involved and literally took my child because I was being a good momđą some rich holier-than-thou Christian lady wanted to adopt my adorable daughter before I even got the chance to fight for her it made no sense at all and now I pay child support to some rich Christian lady who is the farthest thing from Christian I have ever seen she's literally The devil in disguiseđąđą I have joint custody but the lady is literally runaway with my child watch out in Texas this was also Hood county so it's where it's a little bit Podunk and they can do things crooked as much as they want cuz they're a bunch of good old boys and racist that run the townđą

I know why you're husband doesn't show himself! It's cous he will get called out for being a lazy husband and dad. So he doesn't show his face on you're vids or Instagram, you're cooking him amazing food looking after you're kids, and he's just on his game you're son is crying while you're cooking but he can't get his ass up to help and play with his sons while you cook. You go out to eat and he's enjoying his food while again you Handel the kids holding you're younger son and he's enjoying his food and can't be bothered to help his wife or help with his kid's. You deserve so much better
