I was diagnosed with Tourette's when I was only seven years old along with that came with anxiety and OCD. I am 20 now today, and still live with it daily I'm starting to except myself more, and realize it's nothing wrong with me. I love your son he seem so sweet ❤️❤️
I am so happy that you are starting to accept yourself more! I know it can't be easy living with it, or the amount of strength it takes on a daily basis to deal with it, but being ok with who you are makes it a little easier (at least for Corbyn). Thank you for sharing with us!

I know right? He is absolutely HOT so I can see how this would not be an issue regarding dating…I found it cute how he mentioned dating women or men.
i dont know you but you seem like such a sweet and nice person from how you think and it makes you so beautiful, society is very quick to judge others because everything is so based on how we act and what we look like now that it makes it easy for you to believe that well im just a dude with tourettes, but you are so much more we should never identify ourselfs with what our physical self has to offer because we are so much more than that.. dont ever let tourettes stop you from doing what you love and dont let other people bring you down because of it okay💜and btw you and your mom is so cute i love you two together☺️

I have a question. Are the constant tics exhausting? And if they are, do they slow down when you get tired? Thanks. Do more videos
garyjsimm yes they are pretty exhausting, you are right when you say they get less worse when I'm tired they are actually pretty much gone when I'm alone laying down
I find it very interesting to see, how I act around you and your family ( kind of). And it is great how dynamic it is, it seems like you are a great parent!!

My 5yr old son was just diagnosed with Tourette's. It was so hard and scary before we finally got the diagnosis - I thought he was having seizures because he has leg spasms as well. I'm so concerned about how it will impact his social life/future. I do try to be lighthearted and funny so he doesn't stress over it. Are the tics bothersome to you? They really seem bothersome/frustrating to my son, sometimes it seems like he tries to stop them when he feels them coming on.
I'm so sorry that it took me so long to get back to you! Yes, it is so scary in the begining, but having the diagnosis brings a sense of relief. I think that if you have an open home, meaning; having your home be a safe place, a place where your son is allowed to tic. And YES, you have to find humor in some of it and take a break yourself when it becomes hard to hear/see. He will go through the ups and downs, and the downs will be very frustrating and hard, but it seems like the good help take away how bad the down was.

I have a question that's actually not about tourette's but about your shirt, Corbyn. Are you going to Concordia University? I almost went there but I ended up deciding to go to George Fox University instead.

Hi I’m new to your channel and I must say corbyn is handling his Tourette’s better then I am with mine (I’m 15 was diagnosed with Tourette’s just before my 15th birthday)

Hello. I actually have a mild form of tourettes. My tics become more constant in stressful situations. My more minor tics such as the nose scrunch or grunting are not that frustrating. I have this one tic that is probably the one that is the most frustrating where i tap the side of my head a couple times with my palm and its over. I was wondering if you had any tips on calming down from the frustration of constant tics or people constantly looking at you because of them?

Personally , i relief my stress during sports or physical activity, but if i was alone i would either listen to music to take my mind off of it and also chewing gum and taking a minute to get them all out while being alone.

Jacqueline Grenier some sounds trigger them but not just normal everyday sounds !

What happens when you think of harming someone or yourself (i.e. angry or depressed)? Do you act it out unconsciously like in a tic?
spyro matt I don't think Corbyn has thoughts of harming himself or others, and if he has he has never acted on it. But I will let Corbyn answer that for himself.
Thank you Corbyn's mom for getting back on this. I was just wondering if for example he's beside a guy he hates and concurrently he has thoughts of hitting him. Does he act hitting him unconsciously coz of his present thoughts or does he have restrictions of stopping these thoughts in being acted out?
spyro matt i don't really have these thoughts, i never have, i have hit some people with my physical tics but i never intentionally hurt them
Thanks for clarifying that situational negative thoughts wont automatically be acted out by tics. You're a good boy and kudos to your mom for supporting you all the way.

it don't look like he has tourettes to me it must be mild case
toni sargent he does have Tourettes and no, it's not mild. Different days bring differing severity of Corbyn's tics. We choose to record this video on a day that was a "good" day for his tics.
that's great then he had a good day not showing much maybe the stress he feels makes it worst what can he do make stress not be in his life so he can many great days just wondering
