Crazy to think how much singing and acting talent came from Mickey Mouse Club back in the day. That's probably why Disney started seriously producing music and music videos for their last few generations of child stars.
They both were doing Black R& B back then, but later on Ryan changes to White music and Acting.

I think it's difficult for people in the industry to spend much time with each other - films are typically shot somewhere else and music people go on tour for months.
we see JT for 25 years on tv and we see Ryan for 25 years on tv and as soon as we learn they knew each other when they were teens we think they should be close. its like asking you to talk about a friend you had when u were 14 now that ur 38. these people dont see each other really. especialy when jt is a singer and ryans an actor

I'm glad that Ryan has kept away from the other MMC members, because he is very different, compared to the others he's more laid back , down to earth and tries to avoid attention if possible.. the others from the club have been quite the opposite.. also he has done a lot of independent work, whether in films or music, so he is not as commercial as the others, so to me he's much more believable and authentic, I have a lot of respect for him
