Chief, you are a living legend brother. I'm 53 years old, and I have overcome paralysis in the last 7 years while listening to you daily. In fact, walking with just a cane now. You're one of a handful of singer/songwriters I get my country music from, and I swear about half of your songs feel like you're singing about my life. I'm a huge fan of Eric Church, and we love you in Alabama!

You are absolutely correct. I saw him opening for Kenny Chesney in 2015. I was just diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer a month prior. I was able to shake his hand that night. He blew the roof off the Georgia Dome that night. I was so pumped during his set I was unable to make it through the entire Kenny set. His music was on my constant rotation during chemo and recovery. He just the ‘it’ factor that makes you want to fight for another breath. I am also 53.

I cant express my gratitude for Eric Church and his music. I've grown up right along side of him with his music. Hes a true story teller. Telling the story of many of us with our struggles. I feel as if he was riding shotgun with me in the 90s and knows the mistakes made. I appreciate all artist but Eric Church speaks to my life and my experience. Eric Church must be my long lost brother separated at birth...all his music in some way tells my story in one way or another. He will always be my favorite singer/songwriter, he truly has a gift in which everyone can appreciate in some aspect. .it would be a dream come true to see him perform at Redrocks... someday I'll get there. I would love this song played on my last days on earth to celebrate how good life is and thanks to the chief for always reminding the glass is always half full not empty holding my own
This was an awesome concert, in one of the most awesome and powerful venues in all of music: Red Rocks. I was so grateful to be able to be there on August 9. Eric Church took a venue that large and made it feel intimate with his story driven music and just being human (forgetting words a few times and laughing it off with us). I look forward to seeing him with the full band as well, just to experience both ways.
