I know this video is old, but what are your thoughts if 75% of the community already know you? The particular game I stream has an online and RL component and I have been in the RL part since 98. So while I have not doxxed myself, quite a few people have hopped right in knowing who I was and what all businesses I have lol.
Pro tip: If the twitch button isn't showing up in your twitch integrations and you're at least a twitch affiliate, disconnect and reconnect your twitch account from your discord account. Simply resetting that will fix it not showing up if you already had them sync'd.

I'd assume 99% of channels have a small moderator count on Twitch. I would save the time by just making a custom moderator discord role and manually give it to each mod from your twitch channel.
i have a question!! I have setup all of it. but i have now 4 subs but only 2/4 are in discord the 3th can't see them but is a gifted sub on twitch and the 4th has not joined discord. but why can't the one with the gifted sub see my emotes?

Hey! Go to my chat and type !subrank It will spit back a link for you to click on, and then give to the viewer, often they just need to connect their discord and Twitch (or reconnect if it isn't working) otherwise go to your own integration tab, Twitch, and click Sync. That will solve it either way :)
Great video! Question, is there a way to add another role that also comes and goes with a sub that is only given if the user has reacted to it using a "Reaction Roles" channel? This is in order to give a sub access to a channel only if they want it. Does that make sense? EDIT: I figured out how to go about doing this for anyone interested. You can make one role be able to see the channel and another be able to interact with it in order to make both roles necessary!
Noob here: If I want to link to more than one Twitch Account: say I am partnering with music artists and we want their subscribers to have their own channels - do I need to connect to each of those twitch servers on my personal account first, THEN does the server show each of them to create separate roles for each?

heyy, I'm a subscriber to a few different channels and I have sync'd my twitch/discord. Problem is, I don't get to see that "join channel feature" under my twitch profile in the connections tab on discord & the discord bot doesn't move me automatically to the subs category. It's been several months and the streamer's don't really know what to do. It doesn't bother me too much, it's just that I can't enter some discord channels cuz they're sub only. I've also resynced my twitch/discord a few times but no dice. Any ideas?
madood I need help, my twitch integration not creating a role on my discord. I had working before but I logged off my account and lost all my subs. Now when trying back again its doesnt want to sync any subs and the role is still saying "none". I have my sub role in other discords that I subs for but not mine. I have no idea why discord doesnt want to create a new roles and sync people to them. I have 279 roles maybe is it because its over the max?

The exact same way, it's entirely done automatically again through this process but if you want only certain tiers allowed in certain chats then you'll make a new channel and edit the permissions the same way for did for subs but select the tier 2 or 3 sub permission.

No that is an example channel I used to show you how to use the permissions, I'll keep it in mind but it is a video so you can go back, or watch it slower. Sadly if we don't keep the content condensed a certain degree people won't watch so we're trying to balance the two.
Sadly not, twitch gives you a sub, but as the owner you should have a higher role that you’ll appear as Instead of the subs. If you don’t I recommend setting that up :)

Just different roles, some creators have a Sub role which is general and then use the 3 other auto generated tiers for subs to make channels for each tier of sub.

Do you think the Fifine T669 Mic Kit is good for starting streaming?
I don't know about it, but I use the AT2020+ and a Rode Arm, its fairly affordable but I know for some it is a bit tough.

You could manually set it so Twitch sub roles can only see CERTAIN channels, and verified sees the rest of the channels.

Are you a Twitch affiliate? If not, you can't have Twitch Subs and Twitch emotes.

Just different roles, some creators have a Sub role which is general and then use the 3 other auto generated tiers for subs to make channels for each tier of sub.

Are you a Twitch affiliate? If yes, disconnect and reconnect. If not, it won’t show up. Hope that helps!
Some of my subs didn't get the sub roles. Is there a way to get that fixed?
