I know I'm running late on these Torah portions but I do enjoy them so much! I learned years ago that salvation was given to the Jews and that the only way that us gentiles could be saved was to be grafted in. As a woman that was a dedicated Christian for most of my life, it's hard to believe that this was such a revelation to me but it was. Yes, I knew that in John 15:1-8, Yeshua (Jesus) taught about us being grafted in and other branches being cut off...but it kind of didn't fully "gel" in my understanding with what Yeshua said in John 6:22 (approx 47 minutes in), "You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews." (She had questioned who was right about worshiping on the Sabbath and He was letting her know that the Jews were the ones worshiping the Father in the synagogue but then He takes it a bit farther.) I love this chapter like you do! Once He died on the cross, now even the Jews needed to be grafted back in. Paul even spoke of this in Romans 11:17-24. It's so good! I'll add one more scripture here: Gal. 3:26-29 - For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Therefore, we all come to Him by faith, no matter what our DNA says. 🙌 HalleluYah! ☺ Well, as usual, after hearing one of these videos of yours, I so often "get a preachin' on!" LOL! Hi!! I am also running late so no worries! The idea that there is one God with ONE people and ONE set of instructions for those people is simple! Why do we make it complicated?!
@@Melinda_FeedYourSoul I'm not sure if this is as well known as one would think. I remember learning that God had ONE people and that the message to us as "strangers" to those people was that we could be grafted in through Yeshua's death and resurrection. Now, we are a part of those ONE people and no longer on the outside looking in. Hallelu YAH! 🤗
