Hey Joe thanks for the awesome video again, srsly one of the most helpful channels out there. Can I ask I'm from Australia too and I just wanted to know where you purchased the R8 coil pack connectors from? I can't seem to find any here. And what cable did you use for the wiring?
    Thanks!

Thanks bro, appreciate the kind feedback. I'm glad you're getting some valuable info out of the vids.
I purchased my coilpacks from EFI Solutions and purchased the plug with terminals just off Ebay Aust.
Should still be able to purchase some. Easy enough to do yourself, I'd recommend using two quality ground points, back of cylinder head and a good point of contact to the firewall that's bare metal. For wire, I used a heavy gauge for the power and earth's, for the trigger wire I don't believe it's that necessary for heavy duty core cable but you can't go wrong with using heavier gauge. I've not had an issue so far with smaller trigger wires, I've tested both setups cause I made two harnesses. The v2 I used smaller gauge for triggers, and made the earth and power feeds to each coil join each other so there's really only one main 12v source and 1 x earth/ground. Hope that helps. I think tho to be safe might be worth keeping the triggers the same size as the feed/grounds to be safe. 🙂

@@JoeYates77 was there a specific like 15 amp 1.9mm for the cable itself. I'm just looking at what supercheap has that's all haha, but yes that helps heaps. Really appreciate all your videos man very helpful and the responses :)

I would run a good quality 16 AWG wire that can handle up to 10 amps. Might be a bit of overkill but better than under sizing. You could maybe get either a 10 amp high quality dual core wire for red and black or go get some high quality 10 amp 5 core trailer wire and split the core for all different colours.

Are they oem coilpacks? And you just put them in? Or did the coils need to be modified like the R35 coilpacks

No mate, you need a custom harness or ready made one to suit. They're VAG Bosch coilpacks, ones to suit Audi R8 🙂

Coming up to nearly 2 years drifting now, yeah I know, the s15 was never intended to be more of a drift car than street car, it was intended to be the occasional drifter but it sees more drifting than driving on the street now 🙂
