Dude Hyundai claims 8.1 and when you drive it's 10.1, hence it's proved that you cannot get it to 8.1, you should have tried better. Don't worry, other CZcamsrs like Pratham, Daksh are there to launch it perfectly and get it to under 8 secs. Can't believe you try once and claim "the real 0-100"..

Hyundai claims 0-100 for DCT not for manual. Manual has a lot more factors which can effect timings

2:05 DCT has all the 4 disc brakes as they don't use Engine braking and that's why they are expensive.
( Reason for expensive is also many features in DCT not only 4 disc brakes )
But in the manual we use. Enginebraking+brakes, So using all 4 disc brakes are not necessary and company they can make cheaper options in manual

How can dealers allow reviewers to abuse new car like this? If I’m a customer, i will not buy this tested car. This doesn’t even look like a demo car! This has red number plate which means it’s temporarily registered.

It’s not a dealer car, it’s Hyundai India’s test car, that’s why TN 614 because Hyundai’s plant is near Sripurembudur in TN. It will be used by reviewers and then will go back to Hyundai for usage

Glad to hear that and thanks for clarifying! Few youtubers, in the name of review, abuse the new car and it pains to see that. And its not even a demo car. there’s no demo sticker on it. Cant even trust if they say its a demo car. Since motorbeam is a well established channel, Hyundai provides a test car. Dealers should give only a demo car to other solo youtube reviewers.

Looks are worst.. Fingers crossed about the build quality and safety rating.. 1.5 turbo won't give any mileage.. Not the most spacious in the segment.. And what's that steering?? I still find City, Slavia and Virtus to be better in some way, not really convinced with this new Verna.. Ur just paying for some gimmicks...
