- Gday guys, We had heaps of interest via social media about this little Hybrid while we had it, so i've done a walk around for you.
đThe Outside
đThe inside
đThe battery setup
đSuspension
đStorage and features.
Anyways, hope you enjoy it. We find them interesting as we think we will downsize to a smaller van as the kids get older. Great for getting into those remote offgrid places where the big vans cant go as well.
Cheers guys.

Our most watched Episode - z âą BEACH CAMPS ON THE NIN...
It all started whenâŠ
In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 7 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what itâs like to live life on the road!!
That was super interesting and a great Segway from your normal vids. Something like this is very new. Getting an in depth look at this van from my lounge chair, is just priceless.
Glad you enjoyed it mate. We donât get a chance to experience many other vans so this was fun for usđ
@@TripInAVan I personally reckon this could be a thing for you guys. Short trip with the boys in trial vans. Might break up the predictability of the channel. I was super impressed and in no way am I in the market for a van! But I immediately passed it onto my brother who is super into 4WD's and 4WD drive campers. Your a good egg mate.
Appreciate the showing of the van , but really can the average Aussie afford 150, 000 for a 16 ft van ? Pricing out of control !!
Yeah they are very expensive. Everything these days is up there
Ridiculous pricing. Can get something similar for 65k⊠Yeah it might not be to the standard of the vision but in ways itâs better. Iâm more than comfortable with my decision. Seriously how can that cost more than a 300 series. We are bein taken for a ride thatâs for sure!
@@w_stanky manufacturing isnât cheap in Australia as we rightly deserve good wages. That why Chinese and Asian imports are cheaper. Support Aussie made of possible âïžâïžđŠđșđŠđș
@@travelsolo2677 hey mate, I fully get that and I do support Australian made more than most with everything but that is the problem with vans itâs just not possible for the average Aussie. Even the Chinese hybrids are rip offs at their price.
My understanding is that the shell of these are actually made in china with final fit out on Aus? I am happy to be corrected if wrong
Well done Justin. Thanks for all the in depth info and show of the great looking van.đ€
Glad you liked it!
What a beautiful caravan!
thank you
Justin thanks for the video đđđ
Cheers
Ya got ya number 1s and 2s around the wrong way brother! Love it hahaha - Great vid as always
Oh trueđđ youâd have to sit backwards
that gave us a laugh đ
Lovely Ep, Cracking set up,
Glad you enjoyed it
thanks for watching! đđŒ
Awesome caravan đ đ
Love all the features and it's good to go đ Greetings and cheers đ» from south africa đżđŠ đ
Cheers mate
hey thanks for watching
A very nice caravan. May I say what a very good job you did with the demo! Cheers for now..đ»
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for watching Roy
Everything you need, nothing you don't (except maybe the weber)... Perfect for me and the missus I reckon!
Yeah the Weber needs a spot for sure
Thanks for watching. If you'd like any more info, please reach out.
Would definitely love to see a Moreton Island trip in a hybrid. But using a standard towing vehicle like most of us own.
We have standard land cruiser running gear. No different than towing with a wagon really.
A Moreton trip would be awesome đđŒ
Well built
thanks đđŒđđŒ
This camper is awesome looking. I wish we had something this cool over here.
Where abouts are you?
@@TripInAVan Utah, they have some similar off-road coaches, but not with the accessories/options of this model.
@@ssgt2002 I woulda thought youâd have all the cool stuff over theređȘ
Very much appreciate the review. Itâs awesome to get a full timers view on a van.
Just couldnât help notice you want to push #2âs into the urine hole. That may require some hard work especially after a big meal filled with corn đ
Haha, yeah I sit on the toilet backwardsđđ
Hey thanks for watching! Funny... đœ
Hahahaha. I was going to just let it slide (every pun intended). But I too saw that furphy!
Fantastic episode, impressed with the storage, price let's it down, but it is made in Oz. Also Qudos to Vision for supporting the indigenous youth, maybe they could make it a standard thing as a point of difference
Thanks budđ
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. đđŒ
So much storage!
You can never have too much storage đ
Wowee I can only dream to have a pop top this nice one day mate - have my eyes on an older jayco outback or similar to start our adventures & get us out into this great country of ours -40next year sheesh but will keep working hard year after year and some day get the family in a nice van like this one
Go for it! I tell ya what, you donât need much to get these places! Itâs all about the memories, not what gear gets ya there
Nice family van! Excellent run-through.
Awning: these should be wound out 1m max before lowering legs and walking it out to full extension. Otherwise the Awning load will exceed the mounting load, especially on motorhomes! Thanks, Frank đ
Thanks for the tip. First time Iâve used one
Thanks for a great presentation. They are a really good little van, absolutely ideal for around Australia and across the Gibb, but who has that much cash sitting around. A bloody rediculous price mate.
Thankyou mate, it was good fun getting to use one for a trip to see how they go. Glad you enjoyed itđ
Think you got the number 1 and number 2 wrong for the toilet đ but get it, it's a awesome little van!
đđyeah I sit on the toilet backwards
@@TripInAVan đđ
Thanks Justin. This is one of short listed vams
Glad it was helpful!
Nice little hybrid van, but kak expensive...... đ€
Them copper gas lines should have a split lume or conduit over it
Yeah i agree it should have some protection
great tour of the van Justin!, do you have any more details on the 12v pellet grill at all?
I can drop the link and discount below. There is more info there:
Discount is TIAV15

Will you and your wife be at the caravan and camping show this year in Brisbane and itâs a very nice van but expensive đ
We wonât be there this year
Hi justin
Induction is no good if you have a pacemaker due to the magnetic field another 3 burner may be better inside as well
I never knew that hey. Thanks for the info
Very nice van but $150K wow đź big bucks
Justin, I was gonna buy one of these (VH16) till I found out you cannot have a fly screen on the door! I pushed this matter with Vision insisting that we need a screen door but they were adamant that they're not fitting one due to it compromising the door's dust sealing ability. So, all those midgie screens that you showed around the pop top are effectively useless as the midgies will just fly in through the open doorway ha ha. And for me, I can't imagine anything worse than having to be inside a small van with the door shut all the time, so the Visions are off my shopping list unfortunately, because otherwise, they are a great product. No 1s going into the grey water I'm not sure about either, could get super smelly? Also, I found out through the industry that (apparently) Vision's composite panels are sourced out of China? Not that that's a showstopper, just food for thought.
Great info thanks mate. Yeah Iâd be inclined to have a screen door. And yep I got my 1âs and 2âs backwards
Thatâs ridiculous, not having a screen door is a deal breaker for me.
We have a Vision & lots of Vision owners have fitted one of those magnetic screens on the door if you want one. We havenât bothered as donât sit in the Van, why would you want to do that! 0:02
When you wind the roof back down, does the canvas need to be pushed back in and away from the seal?
Nah it just does it itself hey
Two points of detachment for rated safety chains? I doubt that is Regulation compliant. Hammocks are a point of detachment. Rated shackles are a point of detachment. Chains stamped with rating every 4th link?
Hi Justin , just wonder if the composting toilet can be swapped for a cassette type ? thanks Phil.
Iâm not sure mate hey⊠youâd have to ask Vision
Great run down on that van . Wish my cryptos would come good soon so that I can afford it! Haha!!
Fingers crossed!
Cheers mate!! Whats ya thoughts 1 year on?
Not sure hey, only used it for this 1 trip
Iâll stick with my 65k hybrid and keep the 80k in my back pocket for something else. Howâs the manual wind out awning lol I push a button on my povo pack.
Yeah nice, what model is that one. Iâll have a look
@@TripInAVan Itâs a Johnnos Xtreme 16 mate by Altitude campers.
@@TripInAVan Are you thinking about getting a little hybrid?.. They are a fun little rocket can get into some cool spots, your 200 wouldnât even know itâs behind it haha!
Ptice is a bit over the top for a 16 foot vam
I hate to say but it looks like a cold metal box. I could maybe make it feel more homey on the inside rather than a prison cell? Great storage though
Yeah I can see that actually. No soft furnishings like in our van
thanks for watching. Such a personal preference, but we've seen many customers make their vans warm and welcoming with their own finishing touches. The storage is next level!
What's the point of a pop top though ? always been very confused where they fit in the market ?
Yeah Iâm not real sure either hey. Only real benefit I see is storage at home if height clearance is an issue.
Mainly for off road accessibility to some tracks as the roof isn't as high as a standard van.
Also, less wind resistance when towing.
What's the tare weight and gross loading??
I know itâs 3.5tonne atm. Pretty sure this one was around 2.5 so you have heaps of payload
Just a lazy $145kđ
Price of vans these days is crazy hey
Van might be good but the company that sells them is questionable
Ouch......$150k for a small canvas top van........someone is dreaming...Marketed by Toyota Australia at all??
Hi guyâs thought you might like to know I got a Facebook message from Bec saying Iâve won $1500 I a competition for leaving a reply ages ago I think itâs a scam
Kind regards Eddie
So sorry mate itâs a fake profile trying to scam
Thanks for your reply I thought it was a scam see Iâve been scammed before so Iâm very cautious about that sort of thing thanks again great videos love seeing the places you guys go
Regards Eddie
Wayyy too expensive.
Not a 150k Van when you look up close.
Great review but .....
So many clever, technical features that I reckon are beyond my budget. What could possibly go wrong? Is there a reset button on it somewhere? Can I tow it without completing a training course? Will there be fries with that?
I'm feeling old. And yet, I'm still out there enjoying myself in my modest, uncomplicated rig, respecting our beautiful country. đŠ
Cheers mate. Enjoyđșđ
