- Hey guys! I managed to squeeze this video in because I don't wanna miss out on talking about how I prepared for my med school interviews. I also added some tips on how to leave a good impression with your interviewers. I wanna thank my friend Kristen for giving some tips as well, I promise it's super enlightening as well. This will be more useful for med schools in the Philippines that do require it but I think it's still pretty useful!
Thanks for watching and if you liked her part, here's Kristen's channel: / @tin.tinapay582
I’m a YL6 (2nd year) medical student of Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health in the Philippines. I make videos about my experiences in college (hopefully about med lol), studying for exams, and how I live my life. After all, the best way to study life is to live it. I hope my videos impart some sort of insight that can impact your life even in just a tiny amount. If you enjoy my videos, leave a like, comment, or subscribe. Those go a long way to support me in making the videos.

Most of my friends think I'm very confident in speaking/expressing out ideas but the truth is I get anxious BAD that I forget to breathe, sweat my hands, and feel cold in my body😂 It's nice that you tackled small things like these and how to prevent them as these are, more often than not, the ones frequently forgotten.
great video as always!!!!! i think all the things that u and tintin mentioned are rly good tips not just for med school but for any interview in general :) glad to see u back on ur channel!! :D

@@MarcoMallillin Yezzir!! Just had my first one last week!! We've been missing out!!!
higher chances ba if galing ateneo college when applying to asmph
Hi Tony! I can't really comment on that since most batches may good mix of colleges.
Is there a maximum or minimum number of applicants for ASMPH? For example: There are only 180 individuals who can only be accepted in ASMPH over 300 applicants. :D (Or maybe it depends upon passing on the requirements or interview?) Hoping for you reply, thanks!
Hello Kaye!
I’m not exactly sure about the min-max number of accepted applicants but the batches usually range from 150-180 students.
@@MarcoMallillin Oh okieee that's nice to know!!!! :D
But is ASMPH selective when it comes to choosing their students though? Like other Universities require such High GWA or Latin awards to enter their med school, yet I'm not much of a smart student so I kinda doubt entering ASMPH. :
Hi again!
First off, I think you should still try! To be honest, one of my biggest regrets before was NOT applying to UPCM because I thought I couldn’t get in. It’s always worth a shot!
When it comes to grades, you don’t have to be super stellar. Believe me, my grades were a bit average for my batch in college (my class rank was actually around the middle?). I’m not even latin honors!! Hehe my grades were super far from the lowest award 😭 What you can do that could possibly help is work on your NMAT or maybe extra-curricular activities?
hiiii
