Lee & Rob - Hudba
Just wanted to say it's an honour to be here with Lee and the guys, I think it's better that the Andertons content is all in one place! Thanks for the support and long may the banter, shred, laughs and brotherly love continue :-)
Rob Chapman big fan here from Galway Ireland! If you (or Lee!) ever venture over to the west of the Emerald Isle you will be well taken care of!!!!!
Marcus Hogan Thanks man, always wanted to visit Ireland :-)
What?! You've never been! Galway is one of the party capitals of Europe so I'm sure it would be a laugh! Love your new Uni-vibe too! If I had one I'd non stop play Machine gun and Breathe from Dark Side of the Moon!
Rob.....best alter bridge album???? Quick!!
Here Here!! (or is it hear hear?). Whatever posh British people shout - that's what I mean!
Cap's playing in the intro is ace! nice mannn
Cheers!!
I agree! Loved that intro playing! Great stuff, Cap!
it realy is !
Capt, it think it would be great, huge idea to take your and Rob's best jams and release them as compilation (just audio will be great) ...
Absolutely, the man has feeling!
So here it is - the very 1st video where Chappers & the Capt appear on Andertons TV!! We've kept the format the same - Rory is still editing them & the gags/banter is as bad as ever ;) - welcome to any new viewers, & please check out some of the other content on Andertons TV - its all good!! Cheers!!!
CaptAnderton, is this after you are back from Vacation in Puglia?
No, its before! Although I am back. Time travelling is so confusing ;)
Lee I think you're actually my new favourite guitarist ever.
Like I almost nutted over that intro jam
CaptAnderton Your banetr is better than your spelling! đ
Lee's playing has improved enormously over the last year
Sounding great lee!!
You could say he's greatlee improved ( ͥ° ÍÊ ÍĄÂ°)
boo!
The dude who edits these videos has a great sense of humor.
The term âSwamp Ashâ does not refer to any particular species of ash (Fraxinus genus), but is generally used by luthiers to describe lightweight wood yielded from ash trees which are usually found in wet or swampy areas.
i'll be honest... of all guitars that i've ever played, schecters have the best necks
I agree! I came from playing Ibanez guitars for about a decade, and moved to my Schecter Banshee Elite 7 after I developed some issues in my hands, and the necks made it so much more comfortable for me to play!
Matt Bennett tired of receiving recommendations, i'd like to try a prs soon :"D
Completely agree, I too came from Ibanez and I was just completely blown away with Schecter. Their C-shape necks whether it's their thin or normal, it's just perfect for me. Plus their models have gotten a hell of a lot better looking in recent years.
PengWinGamer bought an old omen 7 extreme simply because it had the features I was looking for. Had it shipped to store and fell in love with the playability as well as the beautiful style of it. Easily a gem I'll cherish forever.
Completely agree, just picked up a schecter for the neck, I'll be swapping out the pickups (came with duncan designed single coils, but I think I we can do a bit better!)

Lee:What it's made of?
Rob:Wood!
Ilya Rogozhynsky Let the Dad jokes commence!
In the words (and accent) of Chappers : The chemistry between these guys is ABSOLUTELY incredible!!!!! Schecter guitars (favorite brand), Apocalypse (favorite model), Chappers and Captain (favorite hosts ever). I need a TV show, maybe on NBC, with these two talking about everything rock and metal. Featuring Bea, of course. Cheers from Massachusets, USA !!!!!
It seems like the Captain's licks just get more and more tasty! Great video! Love watching you guys together.
Yes - that Corsair really bought out the goodness!! Thanks for the nice compliment.
My pleasure. Your videos and the insights therein have kept me company during my expat life, so cheers from Japan and a hearty THANK YOU for keeping a fellow picker grinning when he needs it most! Hopefully I can make it over the pond to Anderton's someday sooner than later - it's been a bit mythologized in my mind.
Legend says if you play a Schecter for long enough, you'll turn into a skateboard with a mullet.
Hank Hill I just like every comment you write.
Legend has it that if you spend long enough selling propane and propane accessories you turn into a passive aggressive nut job who secretly hates his son for constantly disappointing him at every turn.
I've heard they're great guitars, but I'm worried that if I buy one, every artist in my music library will slowly morph into Avenged Sevenfold, and the next time I look in the mirror, I'll find myself somehow wearing mascara and a bandana. There's definitely a stigma to the brand.
Aww, c'mon, there's more to Schecter's lineup than just the emo shit. If there wasn't, Robin Zander, Robert Smith, Balsac The Jaws and Jeff Loomis wouldn't be there.
Avenged sevenfold hasn't been emo in years x)
Love the Captains riff on the outro. Very cool. Also nice to hear Schecter are using Ivory and Unicorn horn. Just need to find a way to incorporate a Tiger penis and some Panda eyes and I'm buying several.
Editing is Top notch once again, nice job
Love schecter, we've been carrying them since 09. They've always treated us well, and they have been very consistent! Nice review guys!
0:14 The captain can sure dish out a solo, just really pleasant on the ear, I wanna see these guys do an album together.
10:28 "If you learn how to make a lick and then flick it in" I love Pete's dirty mind
Who else thought Rob enjoyed himself the most in this video than in a long time?
Jake Torres Yeah I thought that :-)
the editing was on point in this video, rory you went above and beyond and truly are a god amongst men
honestly some of the best playing I've seen from the Capt there at the beginning. Excellent!
"Swamp ash" is a term that's used almost exclusively by the guitar world. If you walk into a woodworking supplier and ask for it, there's a fairly high chance they'll just give you a funny look. While swamp ash _can_ come from swampy areas (being submerged for decades or hundreds of years affects the weight of the wood, similar to bog oak), it doesn't _have_ to and in fact is mostly just used to describe any especially lightweight piece of Northern or Southern ash: a regular-weight Northern ash Strat body can easily weigh in the 5-6lbs range, but an identical SA body is will typically be under 4lbs.
Rob's playing was so clean and on point, good stuff
I was so vibing that intro solo. Captain has really gotten better just since I've been watching
You're slowly becoming one of my favorite players, Lee. Magic in those there hands I tell you!
Damn, Lee. Your playing is quite something these days.
He's a FAR better player than Chappers.
I wouldn't say that, but I do prefer listening to what Lee chooses to play.
Thanks man - I appreciate that.
I'm just different. In terms of theory, technique, song writing & lots of other aspects of playing, Chappers is miles ahead of me!
Lee, your tone, vibrato, pacing and general tastefulness are miles ahead of Chappers. Whatever his undoubted technical capabilities, he's so soulless and one-dimensional. He's easily the worst player on the channel.
the Captain's guitar skills have grown so much over the past few years. He sounds absolutely amazing. keep it up
Rory, keep up that kick ass editing. Chappers and The Captain are great and all, but these videos wouldn't be what they are without you.
Seriously, you guys make me want to fly out there just to jam and check out the shop! Videos are long which put me off at first, but full of jam sessions and info. Definitely like you guys doing videos vs the different artists. You make it fun!
Captain, I've never heard you sound better than on this schecter corsair. This one's really amazing in your hands, tone wise.
Always great hear more of Lee. Robs a sick guitarist, but It's awesome hearing Lee doing more lead stuff!
intro is by far the best solo i've heard from the Cap. was awesome!

*Cups. Didn't. Explode.* I'll let it slide this time.. xD
Yeah! We need some Michael Bay Exploding Mugs!
Abhishek Saini That sounds like sick merch
I just ordered a gloss black and gold Synyster Custom-S, couldn't be more excited!
32°C? *[laughs in Australian]*
Counterflak Those are winter temperatures.
Counterflak thats only spring here... and 100 degrees is about 38c.... so its only about 91 degrees in England right now
[laughs in Texan]
Where are you at, Counterflak? I'm in Newcastle, we got up to 50 a few times in January.
i'm in Wagga Wagga, NSW. 32 degrees is a nice day
the corsair is gorgeous! ive been holding out for a chapman 335-esque guitar release but good god, that is fabulous
Damn! Lee's playing and tone in the beginning of this video gave me chills! So good!!
Schecter have been killing it the past few years. I had the pleasure of owning a KM6 for a year or so, fantastic guitar!
PS: That intro was pure aural pleasure
"Lick it, flick it, and add it in for the crack" - Lee Anderton 2017
ok my wife and i watched your video and she got me the banshee extreme in blackcherry burst with hardshell fitted case and paid $459 guitar and $ 130 for case thank you guys you are the best. I own a schecter omen 7 string and love it guitar arrived and it is awesome looking and sounds great it was love at first sight!
Lees' playing have been improving a lot, and the phrasing sounds top notch!~
GREAT PLAYING GUYS YOUR JUST GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. LOVE YOUR VIDS. KEEP EM COMING!
Now we need the battle: Schecter vs. PRS SE ! Which is the better korean made guitar!
don't they come out of the same World Musical Instruments factory?
add to that list: Dean, Chapman, Gretsch, LTD
Randy Lahey well, yeah. but we're all supposed to pretend that they try harder on certain days / lines.
PRS
PRS sucks in my opinion
Chappers and Lee are one of the best Guitar duets ever
Quality editing as always
nice jamming @ the beginning đ cheers from Mauritius. bw love the emg pickups
I have one of the old Schecter PT guitars. It is absolutely killer! Really versatile and comfortable to play. I'll definitely be getting another.
Cap you killed the intro, loved it!
The editing at 2:13 to 2:15 is spectacular!
Captain, you improve a lot... it just so fascinating
Man i love these old videos!!
Woah! Lees playing was great at the start. Really good picking hand.
Schecter knockin' it out of the park, again!
Gorgeous guitars.
It always looks like it's Christmas in your vids, you need some fresh summer decoration!
you need to make more videos in heat waves! hilarious stuff
Yup. I want them all. Chappers and the Captain included.
That rotovibe is really changing up your sound, it's great!
The Capt's musicianship sure has improved lately. Nicely done
Really loving the captain solos!
Ahh, Einhorn is a good one. Also ivory in german is Elfenbein. Nice guitars, and good showcase, always have a smile on my face watching you two!
I can't believe you through and ace Ventura reference that was awesome
Capn Lee's playing on the opening jam!!! daaaaaammmmmnnnnn!!! so much taste and so many feels.
Supposed to hit 45c (113f) here in Phoenix today. And we're glad to see it after that week or so of 120f.
I got a Schecter Corsair about 7 or 8 years ago (from a store near where I live in California, long before I ever heard of you guys). It's not as nicely appointed as the one you demonstrate and mine doesn't have the Bigsby, but I'll say it is a very enjoyable guitar to play, sounds great, and affordable compared to an ES-335 (definitely not "shi-ffordable"). I definitely recommend that anyone should consider them if they're looking for a semi-hollowbody guitar that sounds great but doesn't break the bank. I'm not saying there aren't other good choices, but the Corsair is definitely a good option. Great job as always on your videos!
Out of all the times I've seen the captain play a 7 string, this is by far my favorite one!
i thought i was tripping out when i saw lee on the 7 string... glad to know i've not gone insane, he might be suffering heat-stroke though
Absolutely one thing of the best intros every
Wow this was made the same day as my birthday! đ€đž
Love the PT Special!
Rob, it does not matter what channel your or Lee I watch both all the time :-)
Hell yeah! Rocking the RotoVibe!
I have the Schecter Banshee Fr blue Ocean Burst. And i love my guitar.
Grettings from mexico.
OK the strips n the back of the neck are babinga and the fretboard is ebony with Stainless Steel frets and hardware. Amazing rig !
not a brand I have ever thought about, but those look and sound stunning
If these guys did a podcast, that would be my jam.
intro jam was a beauty
chapper with those calf muscles you shud be able hit that funky Grove and slam dunk at the same time.
Schecter's are one of the most bang for the buck guitar brands on the market. Their stuff is outstanding. I currently own a Banshee 6 Passive and the KM-7 Keith Merrow 7-string. Amazing quality and great tones. Two that I would really love to own are the Sun Valley Super Shredder and the Nick Johnston model.
next level Captain !! Good job! ;)
Chappers tone is fing awesome today !!
JMarz thanks dude, I think I have found my magic pedal selection :-)
do you think a rotovibe and wah would go well?
I'm in love with that corsair
For any Irish people here. Did I hear Rob say 'for the craic'?
As an Ulsterman I'm happy to confirm he did.
Love the ace ventura reference :)
daaaaammnnnnn captain, crazy good playing here! :))))
Cap's intro is awesome !
I'm subscribed to both Rob and Andertons... didn't even notice this is the first captain and chappers video on here
Cap is tearin' it up!
I love how uncomfortable Lee looks with a 7 string guitar!!! You guys make my day!!! :)
Anyone else noticed that the Captain plays the same lick on every video as soon as he demos a guitar. Love it! Haha
Schecter CORSAIR custom : I purchased that same guitar and it is awesome. Plays like a dream and has great tones looks smashingly good. I went to GC and tested 335s that priced at 2400-2800$ then after 45 min of playing those I tried this. WOW It felt better than the real 335. Not as good of resale value but I think just as good a guitar. The ONLY thing so far is the bigsby it is not as responsive as I had hoped for you have to really shake it to hear it. I am going to replace the spring with a taller one and see if it helps. But these guitars are awesome and the finish is very handsome
*Reviews the only HSS 7-string in production, only plays the bridge pickup*
Richard Hunter you should look at agile. they've had a production 7-string hss strat and I believe a 7-string sss strat.
Europe is a second-class market for Agile, I wouldn't buy from them.
Loving the tone on that opening jam captain, you should probably buy that guitar :)
Damn Lee, that first jam was fantastic! :O
it does make sense to have all of the andertons stuff in one place
I love the ending, Captain chugging on a 7 string, Chap making a P90 PT sing. Strange to look at, but it sounded good fellas.
This jam reminds me of "Let Me Rest In Peace" from the Buffy musical episode.
You guys have way too much fun. "It's great. " -Chappers
As I was curious, swamp ash is a term used to describe any ash that grows in a swamp or wetlands, or ash that is simply lighter in density, it's really a broad term that could be used for any form of the ash tree.
Who edits these videos? They deserve a raise!
I love my schecter , great guitars
You two fleabags , if I wasn't already subscribed .... I'd subscribe . You guy's and vodka in the morning make the start of my day
so much better ... I like Pete and the other guy as well ... keep them coming ...
Tasty licks!
