About Tyler:
Tyler Butler-Figueroa is a young musician who has touched many hearts and continues to inspire millions of people through his graceful violin playing. Tyler began playing the violin at the age of 7 years old. Tyler recorded and produced his first Original Song entitled “NO SLEEP” at the age of 15 and released it at the age of 16 in October 2023. Tyler recorded and produced his 2nd EP Cover Album at the age of 16 entitled “Timeless, Vol. 1” on April 24th 2024 that comprises the music genres of Soul, R&B and Hip Hop. Tyler recorded and produced his first EP Album at the age of 15 entitled “A Violin Christmas” November 2022. Tyler has been on America's Got Talent where he was a “Golden Buzzer” Finalist, America's Got Talent: Live on Stage (6 Shows in Las Vegas, NV), The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and America's Got Talent: The Champions Edition where Tyler finished in 3rd place. Tyler was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a blood cancer when he was four and a half years old. He had to go through three years of chemotherapy, which led him to lose his hair. Because of his appearance, many children would bully him. He has overcome these difficulties by playing the violin. Tyler is still in remission and he tells his story through
his performances.
Tyler's music genres include: Pop, Classical, Gospel, AfroBeats, Hip Hop, Country, R&B, Soul, Bollywood, Folk, Memorial, Patriotic, Soft Rock, Line Dance and Latin.
Some Accomplishments:
Auditioned for and was accepted into the Eastern Regional Orchestra of NC (ERO) (Jan. 13, 2024) in Greenville NC that is part of the NC Music Educator Association (NCMEA) where all of the selected students performed a concert together on Feb. 25, 2024 on the campus of East Carolina University (ECU), Auditioned for and was accepted into the Philharmonic Association / Triangle Youth Philharmonic Violin 2 Assistant Principal under David Glover (Conductor) Raleigh NC (Sept. 1, 2023), Opening Performance Act for Virtuoso Travel Week 2023 in Las Vegas Nevada at The Bellagio Hotel in front of @5,000 LIVE attendees (August 2023), Auditioned for and was accepted into the Philharmonic Association / Triangle Youth Symphony 1st Chair Position / Concert Master Violin 1 under Joseph Peters (Conductor) Raleigh NC (Sept. 12, 2022), Auditioned for Enloe High School Chamber Orchestra and was accepted as 1st Chair Position / Concert Master Enloe High School Raleigh NC (Sept 2022), Simon Cowell’s Top 10 Most Favorite “Golden Buzzer '' Contestant in America’s Got Talent History (July 5, 2022), America’s Got Talent Top 10 Most Viral Contestant in AGT 15 Year History (Aug. 4, 2020). Season 2 America's Got Talent: The Champions Edition contestant 2020 (3rd Place Finalist).Performed 6 shows in Las Vegas with "America's Got Talent Live Shows On Stage'' 2019, Appearance and performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for his 12th Birthday (Sept.25 2019), America's Got Talent 2019 "Golden Buzzer" recipient Season 14 Top 10 Finalist. - Hudba
Hello Tyler, thank you so much for bringing joy and hope through your talent. I have watched your audition at the AGT before but today I am very grateful to you for your inspiring testimony. I just got to know this afternoon that my nephew undergoing through the same experience like you. He was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 3 and 1/2 years old now he is 8 years handsome boy. Last evening he cried and told his mother that his classmates are bulling him and calling him names like 'fat' 'pig'. Because of the side effects of medicines he is huge and bulky than other child of his age in his class.
I immediately shared your AGT audition video to my sister to listen to your story.

I remember this from 2019 my dad is also a cancer survivor so when i heard your story i started crying and when i was playing this video i was also crying because it made me replay the time my dad was sick in my head but it also made me be gratefull for being healty my self so thank you for putting a smile on my face even in the hard time's ❤
