The Lange Originals Hoist-A-Cart is the easiest way to remove and store your Jeep Wrangler hardtop. It's compatible with both the 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK as well as the newer Jeep Wrangler JL! The new Gen II Hoist-A-Cart features improvements over the first generation cart that make it easier to use and smaller overall making it easier to store away. With large nylon lifting straps, a self-locking winch, 4 large swivel casters and thick foam padding on all the hardtop touch points, you'll have your hardtop off in just a few minutes, without the need to ask a family member or friend to help you lift the heavy top off your Jeep. Not only will the cart lift your top off, but you can also store your top on the cart in an upright position to take up less space. As an added bonus, you can even store a pair of doors on the cart as well!

Some people do leave them in, however it does use the front bolt hole of the hardtop, so I would suggest taking it out and replacing the factory bolts when reinstalling the hardtop.
