The Lange Originals Hoist-A-Cart is the easiest way to remove and store your Jeep Wrangler hardtop. It's compatible with both the 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK as well as the newer Jeep Wrangler JL! The new Gen II Hoist-A-Cart features improvements over the first generation cart that make it easier to use and smaller overall making it easier to store away. With large nylon lifting straps, a self-locking winch, 4 large swivel casters and thick foam padding on all the hardtop touch points, you'll have your hardtop off in just a few minutes, without the need to ask a family member or friend to help you lift the heavy top off your Jeep. Not only will the cart lift your top off, but you can also store your top on the cart in an upright position to take up less space. As an added bonus, you can even store a pair of doors on the cart as well!

i just picked up a used Hoist-a-cart version 1 for JK....and this one looks so much nicer and friendlier with the straps VS the Cables
Your videos are massively helpful! Thank you for doing such a great job.
right to my wishlist thank you rob
WOW.. buying this right now!
I like that much better than the original. I hope they make a conversion for the winch and straps.
If you don't have garage or carport for overhead mounting of a top removal system then this is pretty much the best option
Was hopeful this was for a TJ
Is there any downside to keeping the hardtop in the air after taking it off of the Jeep? Why lower it down to the ground?
I wonder if my Barricade Removable Roof Basket will interfere with this hoist? In standing it up or the total weight of the roof itself ?
How do you keep rear window from opening when tilting the top back. Mine pops open. This is a great product, by the way.
Did you ever find an answer to your question? I’m having the same issue.
How about one for the Gladiator JT
If you opt to leave it hanging, do you run the risk of the sides bowing out?
It's so expensive but so helpful
Does this fold up for storage when not in use or it stays as is?
Will there be retrofit parts to make this compatible with a Ford Bronco?
Do they make one that will work on a CJ-7 hard top?
How do you get the window to stay closed when tilting the top back for storage?
What is the max height this would work on?
Do they make a back bracket that will fit my 99 wrangler tj ?
I think getting a friend is so much easier. Lol.
Or a toplift pro
Just make damn sure he/she doesn't drop it or drag the set pins across your paint.
Do you guys have a hoist to remove and install roof top tents?
Do guys deliver to Canada?
he said dropping your load hahaha
Can you leave those bolts in position when putting the top back on? Or do you need to remove for proper sealing?
Some people do leave them in, however it does use the front bolt hole of the hardtop, so I would suggest taking it out and replacing the factory bolts when reinstalling the hardtop.
Do you think you could us this to remove a Roof Top Tent off a jeep? And then lower it and remove from the hoist
Did you ever try this for a rooftop tent?! I want to use it for the same!
@@mitchsargent5543 Did you try it with a rooftop tent? How did it work?
@@robertsack257 After reading other reviews, I went with a different set up that’s a little more robust. My wrangler (ordered last NOV), still hasn’t arrived. Once it does, I plan on posting a vid on what I did for my set up!
@@mitchsargent5543 I bought a Vestil 2 Ton Hoist. Arrives today. Has 104 inch height and 60 inch boom arm. I am hoping this will do the trick. Kind of overkill but was not much more than the 1 ton and you get an extra foot of length in the boom.
Will this Hoist work on a 1999 TJ Wrangler Sahara?
I just got one used for my 99 wrangler, do they make a back bracket for it?
It's nice but there are still some more mechanical developments that can be done!!
not everyone has 20 foot ceilings - once off jeep how am i supposed to wheel that 7-8' tall contraption into my standard sized garage????? not thought out very well
Where can i get one and whats the costs
Why won’t it work with 2005 2 door Wrangler
Can this lift actually pick the hardtop up from the ground?
Yes it can!
Can I leave the top up in the air? I dont have the room to store it in the down position.
Sure, you could, but it takes up the same footprint when it's hanging as it does when lowered down and is definitely more secure that way for extended periods of time.
What a PITA this is.
Harken Hoister. 1/4 the price and it doesn’t take up floor space.
Some of us don't to install an overhead hoist permanently.
Sorry, but I've seen better.
What a ridiculous long and complicated waste of time and money.
TAKES TOO MUCH TIME.....BETTER VERSIONS
such as?

@@tysonduquette1414 Just looking at that thanks, a little more expensive but looks good
@@tysonduquette1414 Bad thing about that one is that it doesn't pick up off off the ground and it can't tilt the hardtop...unless I'm missing something.
