#windjammer restaurant is a firm favourite with those #loyaltoroyal and we have to say we were impressed with the variety and quality of what we found to eat each morning during our time on #royalcaribbean #exploreroftheseas
With a ship very much catering for their traditional and regular American guests, but with many onboard from the UK lured by some great deals from our travel agents, it was great to find some British classics amongst the buffet selection.
Much of what you'll see in this video is standard, corporate, and universal to RCI ships and so will give you a generally good picture of what to expect on your Royal Caribbean #cruise But likely the British Breakfast items are an addition that may be unique to the fact that Explorer is sailing the summer in the Mediterranean; unless some of you may have experience of this elsewhere in the fleet and in other territories/destinations.

The buffets on Royal are wonderful so many choices
I do think Royal Caribbeans buffets are hard to beat, so much choice. Making me hungry watching this

These older ships have a lot of character.....and are less costly to cruise on than the latest launched vessels that attract the most attention and demand. So, yeah, totally recommend it Paul
Wish it had more vegetarian options
We do often feature in our videos the Vegetarian dishes and options where we find them, but the buffet was certainly dominated with meat, leaving vegetarians with eggs, cheese, fruit, yogurt etc. The Asian dishes looked inviting, but probably not to western tastes as breakfast items. At least the bread rolls are famous for their texture and taste.
Ahhhhhh... you are killing me.... breakfast is my downfall... british bacon.... black pudding... smoked salmon....
😄Yep breakfast is a real joy on vacation and cruise. Away from the need to rush in our normal lives, its great to say "one more coffee.....and I'm going to get a plate of this or that to try".
I'm not sure all Americans appreciate the Brit love of black pudding, and to be honest, we eat less of our 'normal' foods on a cruise and like to enjoy other foods we find. So we probably ate more salmon cream cheese bagels than typical Brit Breakfast on this cruise.
But it was good to see it available, and British tea and HP sauce !!
Royal Caribbean are to be praised for catering for so many diverse guests, including Asian dishes at breakfast also.
So, when you hit that buffet, take your appetite with you because there's sooooo much great choice.
