And the Mayweather fight was bigger than any title fight he could have taken at the time, and wasn’t MMA. So one MMA match in the last 6 wasn’t lined up as a title fight.

Over the majority of his career Masvidal has been a ridiculously cautious and methodical fighter, racking up about a round and a half worth of points then playing nothing but defense for the remainder of the fight. I tell you, the number of close split decisions Jorge has lost due to taking his foot off the gas is crazy, then he would whine about losing with the judges when he had no-one but himself to blame! Hahaha. I'm glad he's FINALLY decided to be more aggressive, he might actually get a shot at a real title if he keeps it up. :D
