Vintage LAU Attic fan

Just a quick overview of my vintage attic fan. Not sure what year it was made but based on how the motor looks in terms of design and paint color on the frame id say its from the 1950s or 60s era.
After recording I forgot there is a nameplate at the front of the frame and the info is listed bellow.

Serial NO: 11294
Manufacture: LAU BLOWER CO. DAYTON OHIO.

I do not think this fan is an attic fan. I believe it is just a normal whole house window fan. Some people put these in a regular window.
