if you really want to get proper use of eARC there are 2 suggestions 1st go for proper dolby Atmos home theatre system, and 2nd, if you want to go for soundbar then look for 5.1.2 soundbar. (5 channels for front center and surround, 1 subwoofer and 2 upfiring atmos speakers)

9500ws is not an Atmos sound bar. You can consider Zebronics 9800.

check your amazon prime plan, does it supports multi channel output? also the content you are watching supports dolby digital? there are lots of video contents those are only stereo. also try other apps with multi channel plan, and if those other apps can play dolby audio, so the problem is not in hardware. there might be some issue with the prime app. try reseting your app. follow these steps just in case if the problem is with app:

I have latest VU gloled tv and sony ht s40r 5.1 channel sound system. Connected with sony hdmi cable which i got with sound system but th not working. Both are earc. Sony team said our hdmi cable is good works with all tv but otherside VU customers support team said i have to get hdmi 2.1 high speed cable only then speakers will work with Tv.how it will work? no need to buy hdmi 2.1 cable, just try any other hdmi cable might be issue with ur current cable

yes you will get compressed dolby digital, DTS and dolby digital plus signals, and if you will connect your tv with sound bar properly then definitely you will get the audio from your sound bar. and if you just want to see dolby atmos logo, then let me tell you that, yes you might see the dolby atmos symbol on your device, but for proper dolby Atmos you need a proper dolby home theater setup with atleast 2 speakers on your ceiling.

Hi brother! I am facing a small issue recently regarding sound. My TV has eARC port but my sound bar has ARC port. and when i connect my speaker to my tv with HDMI 2.0 cable... it works fine for sometimes but after a while the sound gets muted automatically for about 20-30 sec. so if eARC is backward compatible then why am i facing such an issue? Pls help cause this is kind of very frustrating🙏🙏🙏
are you sure that the problem is due to eARC? this can be due to many reasons, like tv circuit, or may be sound device circuit.. try connecting your sound device with other devices like fire tv stick, or any other tv with eARC/ARC and even then the problem is there then there is something wrong with your sound device and if everything alright then there might be some issue with your T.v

set top box se jo hdmi out hota hai wo apko apne tv ke input me dena hoga fir tv ka HDMI ARC / eARC apko apne AVR / soundbar me connect kar dena chahiye..
Setbox cabel konse port me dalna chahiye hdmi ya hdmiearc
settop box ke hdmi out port me hdmi cable ka ek sira lagayein, aur usi hdmi cable ka dusra sira tv ke hdmi input port me lagayein. earc ya arc wala port sirf apke sound system ke lie hai.😊🙏

My AVR is not compatible within arc but my TV is . In this case what needs to be done?
if your tv and avr both have optical then connect using it.

@@Maddlr brother if AVR not supporting ARC/eARC then direct HDMI connection from tv wont give you surround sound. better to use optical 😊🙏
