BA (Journalism)

This course is designed to prepare you for real-world careers in the media, while at the same time allowing you to complete a joint-honours degree with one other Arts subject of your choice.
This exciting programme allows you to undertake practical modules in print, online, social media, radio and television journalism across four years of study.
Students have the opportunity to engage in a professional work placement in third year of this course. NUI Galway has new state-of-the-art journalism facilities including a digital newsroom, Ultra High Definition 4K TV studio and our own radio station!
