Nah that’s is a great pie I live in Walpole and it’s the best pie you can get in a 15 mile radius of Walpole, it looks like shit but tastes amazing.

Its literally one of the worst rated pizza places in the area if you look lol. Why I was shocked to see him reviewing it, let alone giving it a 7.8

That 100% looks like a frozen pizza, and a cheap one at that. Red Baron, Tombstone look exactly like that out of the oven.

I live in Walpole and that’s not a frozen pie, they make it exactly how a bar pie would be made. It looks like shit but tastes amazing. I always get it with burnt edges though, makes it so much crispier and less greasy

It’s one of the lower scoring “bar pies”.
Not a “bar pizza” a South Shore Bar Pie, also known as Greek Pizza. These are cooked in a small pan with raised square edges, and usually use a different kind of sauce. Cape Cod Cafe and Town Spa Pizza are the gold standard for this, but there are dozens of other great ones in southeastern Mass. I’ve never heard of Crisp though, and the reviews are mediocre, but I totally get the bonus points just for being a SS Bar Pie

I’ve been hospitalized for three days with an ulcerative colitis flare. I can’t eat anything but freaking ensure shakes until this gets under control and here I am watching hours upon hours of Dave’s pizza reviews. That should tell you how much I enjoy pizza lol shoot me.
Good stuff though I always enjoy his reviews although being from Chicago I go for more of a deep dish style. His reviews though make me want to take a tour of the East coast and try some bar style. Also like how he has a soft spot for the family owned joints.
If you want to cure/reverse ulcerative colitis you have to get a handle on the food you’re eating. Grains, beans, lentils, chocolate, and nuts and seed are all tough on the digestive system, both physically and chemically. An animal-based approach would be the best way to heal your digestive tract, which is what’s causing the UC is a damaged digestive lining. Look up Sally K Norton (she wrote Toxic Superfoods), Paul Saladino (Heart and Soil Supplements), and other carnivore bloggers. A lot of people have healed from what you’re going through! Good luck.

We're definitely in the holiday season. Wild times. 100% a frozen pizza and it's not even that crispy. Prez giving mid tier scores to places whose pizza is amazing and high 7's to frozen pizza.

There is now an outdoor seating area under a tent with TV, and small bar but open hours are hit & miss.

I'm gonna say this loud and clear. That looks IDENTICAL to a cheese pie from Singas Pizzeria in Queens, NY. Singas is a whole franchise that started out in Elmhurst, Queens and grew from there. My pops took me there when I was 4 and I'm 27, still eating it today thanks to him. A plain cheese pie comes out crispy and cheesy with a a kinda sweet but more acidic sauce that feels like some grandma in the back made the sauce. If you think this is a 7.8, they make 8.1's on the daily

I lived in Walpole for six years, great area. This is a good pizza spot, some of the best restaurants are in and around this area.
I lived there too, no good pizza in Walpole, lots of average at best spots. I probably had Jimmy's pizza 35 years ago and also recently.
