Something Strange (An American Girl Halloween Stopmotion)

Happy Halloween! I know this year looks a little different, but hopefully you still got to have fun day! You have no idea how excited I am to share this project with you. I have been working on it for what feels like forever! I have so many people to think for making this video happen: American Girl, first and foremost, for sending me Courtney Moore and her collection, as well as Truly Me #83 to play Sarah! Also, thank you to Hanna, one of my roommates, for voicing Courtney for me! Anyways, hopefully you liked this year's style.. I wanted to go in a different direction than I ever have before in regard to "spooky things" and so I pulled heavy inspiration from Stranger Things and a movie called The Vast of Night while writing this story. Plus, with Courtney's world being set in the 1980's it was the perfect stage for an alien movie anyway! For those of you that follow my vlog channel, Micah Cate, you might know that I'm taking a video game history class and so believe it or not I was actually able to pull in a little trivia from that while creating the script!
