  • Audrey’s story broke my heart but I believe it’s a story that will empower every pregnant mom to advocate for themselves, to know when things are not going right but it’s also a story that people in the medical field will benefit from.
Can a VBAC work? What are the red flags?

Dear Audrey, you are doing well. There is this one thing I know, there is nothing that God cannot change. I pray O'Neal lives to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. May God bless you and your family in all aspects of life i.e financially, emotionally, mentally etc.

Hello Audrey. My daughter is nine years old and has CP, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, visual impairment, feeding disorder ( dysphagia), cognitive delays, non mobile and non verbal.
She had to get a permanent gastrostomy feeding tube too due to aspiration pneumonia. She has had it since she was three years old and has had it for seven years. It is the best decision you will ever make for your boy. It will make feeding and medication easy. It’s a new world all together but you will be okay.
    God keep strengthening you.

Dear Audrey...My heart goes out to you and your family. There is a reason that this child practically walked away from death to live again and show a new pulse irrespective of what the doctors had pronounced. I believe that there is a destiny for this boy that cannot be seen in the natural but the Kingdom of heaven has a star, a prophet and a soul winner in this child. You are the gift to your generation O'Neil and a lot lies in store. The Psalmist in Psalm 118:17-18 speaks of you when he says "I shall not die, but live,
And declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has chastened me severely,
But He has not given me over to death."
Your reason for living O'Neil is to declare the works of the Lord and this shall surely come to pass in your life. Audrey, May the Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, The Lord turn his countenance upon you and May the Lord give you Peace. Shalom dearie...speak to you soon.

It is unfortunate that this mother is going through this because of the negligence of some of the health personnel in the so-called international hospital. God protect all expectant mothers in this country and always direct them to hospitals where they can get the safest delivery for both mother and baby. I can attest that Mulago might have its challenges with customer care and, understaffing among others but the personnel there are quite experienced

It’s really so hard and emotional dealing/ taking care of special babies 🥺🥺
Sometimes we need people to talk to, and have that feeling when someone is listening to you while pouring out all the emotions 🥹🥹🥹 sometimes it’s the support we need. I also have a story to tell, if you don’t mind. As for some hospitals, if it’s not for God’s sake, they need to be exposed because I’ve heard different stories from fellow special needs mothers when some cases are because of the doctors /nurses negligence. It’s so sad that we don’t get help /solution where we except it 😢😢

Her birth was more like my birth. Exactly like mine. I was on the pushing bed for more than three hours and baby wasn't coming out. They looked for that vacuum, untill they found it , I was in btn collapsing and alive, baby had a code which was removed. He was 4.1kgs. I was stitched, baby delayed to cry, but my baby wasn't taken to incubator. He is so fine
I think the reason wasnt coz she tried to push. Coz women have tried to push even one year after a C section and it was successful.
Its the infection that made things bad. After God's plan ofcos. It's so sad Bambi. We thank God fr the countless blessings. We pray that God eases their journey.

Thank you for sharing this story.
Maybe if you don't mind, please share the hospital name so that we try to avoid it.

I don’t know if it would be advisable to do that on a public platform

I think you should disclose the name of the hospital..
That's when they will learn to take things seriously.
This is life we talking about

Such a saaad story 😢I don’t think her baby got a problem because she attempted to push… the baby got a problem because he was put in the incubator! That was the biggest medication error and the biggest form of medical negligence in the whole case! He should have been put on oxygen right away! And them saying baby got an infection in the nursery was them covering up for their mistake/ negligence because they thought the parents not being medical personnels wouldn’t know! They should GO LEGAL. SUE THE HOSPITAL! 🤦🏿‍♀️

There were so many mistakes the hospital made 😭
Once the parents are emotionally ready, it’s a route they hope to take.

Audrey dia am so sorry that u are going through this, am sorry but i dont mean to sound insensitive but i think it would b best if u let that child rest so that u can heal emotionally and also he gets to sleep well since he looks like he is going through alot of pain and its draining u emotionally..

@@thepcoscyster9054let me lovingly rebuke you right here You knew what your comment would sound like but went right ahead and sent it? Repent and never let these words be heard by any other special needs child’s mother. O’Neil and all special needs children are human beings deserving of life, love, care, support, protection and more.

We should be ware of private international’ hospitals. The level of negligence i have heard from Audrey’s story is appalling. And I’m sure the parents had to pay a hefty hospital bill. Health workers, can we be a little more professional and empathetic. I believe O’neil’s parents need to see a clinical psychologist as well.

Hello Daisy, i would like to help Audrey with writing a grant for the daycare. I’m sure with a well written proposal, there are organizations willing to donate and help in this start up. Kindly link me to her

Health workers we need to do better for sure,,,this is so sad😮this child was at risk for cerebral palsy from dayone😢😢from the difficult labour,to cord prolapse being delivered under vacuum aspiration😮😮, inadequate oxygen supply which would have started during labor to the NICU,, infections to the brain wic caused seizures, head injury from vacuum aspiration and delayed referral. I happened to witness a gynecologist who delivered a mum with vacuum aspiration,,t was devastating to watch😢😢 vacuum aspiration is discouraged internationally coz of ts complications like cerebral palsy😢 hug lady this is too much to held for sure
