That has nothing to do with "training" and everything to do with the type of individuals you are hiring.

Exactly. I get so damn tired of cops blaming it on "Training". Training has nothing to do with being an asshole. U can't train that type of behavior out of folks.

I’ll find this story messed up in so many ways you have cops that kill innocent people, create a make up situation for you to be arrested. For example, I was standing outside of a store, and the cop asked me questions about if I’m on parole or probation I told him no I am not. He proceeded to tell me I needed to leave the area I got in my car and he came up with a traffic stop and pulled me out of my car good thing about that he violated my civil rights and I won $50,000 in a discriminative case.

Looking back, I'm not proud of it at all, even though I was never reprimanded for it. Today I try to behave like the kindest and most helpful person I can, but damn, I wish I'd never had an attitude like that. I'm really sorry about that. It was stupid and irresponsible. That's not how this video pronounced it (they said LOO-uh-vul) but it is true that many of those not from Kentucky or surrounding areas can't quite pronounce it correctly. The anchors did get it right, although LOO-uh-vul, LOO-uh-ville and LOO-e-ville are accepted in that area. Just like people from Nevada know how their state is pronounced, Louisville knows their city. They do not like LOO-us-ville.
Actually, their are some from other states that get it correct. Usually, when speaking about the Kentucky Derby, news anchors learn the correct way to say Louisville. I used to live in Louisville and know how to say it, but Nevada is one I'm not sure I pronounce correctly. Oh, I may also say Massachusetts incorrectly. ☺☺

Shame on you WHAS.... of all the clips to show first, you choose the one clip that they said "I actually feel bad about that one", of all the hundreds of clips you could have shown (as the few others). There should be NO trying to soften this. In addition, why did the report NOT cover the officer who got 3 years for "sexual abuse"? Did you miss that part? His use of blackmail to receive oral sex? The blackmail use of illicit photos? The release of those pics and video? What about those crimes? Please expose this piece of garbage human being for what he is..... don't sweep things like this under the carpet. How about them announcing over the police radio each time they threw the drinks? How many people knew they were doing this? The problem is way bigger than this report made it seem. Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

The behavior of these officers are reprehensible and its damning indictment of LMPD that many officers knew about this and none reported it.
