I am only 4.5 minutes into this video and the absolute disrespect shown to the grot has to be breaking at least one rule of acquisition. The Nagus will hear about this.

This was a map that REALLY needed the Ruststalkers rather than the Infiltrators.
Please could you explain? I'm new to the game and would really like to know more about tactics and stuff :D
@adshead7354 Sicarian Ruststalkers have 5 attacks and either Balanced or Rending depending on the kit. But they have no ranged weapons. The Sicarian Infiltrators only have 4 attacks but they have guns. This match really wasn't giving the Infiltrators any good shots and it really punished their 4 Attacks in melee.
There is also a Strategic Ploy that allows your Ruststalkers (and only your Ruststalkers) to fight once as a Free Action during their Activation, as well as take 2 Fight Actions during their Activation. This allows them to Operate Hatch, Charge, and Fight.

Good to see admech finally back, one of my favorite teams. Also the Grot should be named Brad-Dice, for obvious reasons.
My heart ached every time they said the Grot is useless! He's been an absolute MVP in most of my games, nobody racks up scenario/Tac Op points like this little guy.
I think after being called useless some much, he should take it up as a mantel. "Useless the grot" is a good name.
Your battle reports are literally the best in the business. It's the perfect mix of great cinematic shots, good top down overlay and humor. Keep up the great work! What program do you use to make the map overlay showing the circles on the map? Thanks again!
Corsairs were rated number 1 fun team, but I don't see too many videos on my boys hmmmmmmmm ;)

remember, indirect weapons only have 3" range in ITD :) If u use the indirect rule. Should probably mention
seeing how the kommandos droped one after one was disheartening but the grot saving the day really lifted my spirit! and hey, love these teams against each other. it got tight! also contrasting colors.. *chef's kiss*
Also the grot should be named Rakkas! inspired by the word rackartyg in swedish, meaning mischief.

The strategy with the grot is to get him to flank targets you intend to melee with someone else. It’s best you don’t actually use him to attack, just flank.
KILL TEAM! I love Ad mech and I'm soooooo happy to see them, sad that some dice throws was that unlucky ^^ but "dice tells stories"!
Lads, on capture you overthrow control of the point at the end of any individual action. So for example, on TP3 when trooper moved on Brad's home objective, it knocked the capture for Brad. When grot moved in, it prevented Vic from capturing it for himself, so that point remains contested.

Yup, I also noticed that. The objective should become neutral when Mechanicum get to control it, so that with both players having 2APL at it at the end of the turn it would stay neutral for that turn.
Mine is named Scoober Steve, and he is my MVP at most games, just for his wonderful steals :D

I love the color scheme on the terrain. I'm very tempted to do something bright like that when I get it. I much prefer those color schemes so everything doesn't look like a pile of black plastic

4:50 it sounds like sarcasm, but as we all know, Purple is the sneakiest colour, so if the WAAAAAAAAAGH! is strong enough, purple orcs actually become invisible!
Why y'all hating on my Grot boy!? He's incredible!! Easily scores several VP all by himself every game. He's not for fighting, he's for scoring points, not always as mission-relevant, and can be tac-op dependent but is great to zipline forward to hold objectives at the very least, and great for stealing stuff or making enemies waste APL to get rid of him. Especially good in open maps. Hilarious ending with him this game lol.

Great game guys! Quick tip from a Hunter Clade player: Ruststalkers are way better than Infiltrators! With the Transonic Blades you get 4/6 Rending attacks, can take an equipment that negates the first 2" of traversal, and have a strat ploy that lets them fight twice AND get a free fight when they activate. 4 Ruststalkers would have torn up this game, I love to do a huge turn 2 Conq Imperative, Accel Agents strat and just murder things in melee with em.
The dice gods are WILD!! fwiw it’s worthwhile revising how control of the point works on Capture - if you have more APL on a point at the end of the turn, it is yours until the enemy take control. That control is switched to neutral if, during the turn an enemy has more APL on a point. Control for scoring is then determined by number of APL on the point at the end of the turn. There’s a number of instances where control wasn’t reset during the turn, meaning points were scored when they shouldn’t have been. It’s a point in the FAQ I think.

My dudes. Grot krumpin aside, the grot is an extremely valuable operative. Line him up to zipline and threaten multiple objectives, pick your moment to steal points, block doors, etc.

Ending played out like a Black Library novel.
10:43 the grot can fly over friendlies (and hostiles and barriers) unlimited distance and open a hatch. If he wasn't so far out of position he could easily have given control of CP 4 on TP 1.

Hi guys there is no combat support from an operative if it is in engagement with another operative. So around 15.00 sicarian would hit on 3+ on the Nob. Still fair because it missed only with a 1 but you know...rule lawyer here.
