The area of Ipoh is about twice the size of Georgetown, do not confine to only the old and new towns, there are Green town and Meru, Ipoh is way too big than most CZcamsrs know.

There is a good size shopping mall, Ipoh Parade, near the Green Town area. If you like history you may want to visit Kellie Castle.
