This is indeed a violin-centered band, cause the band is Ayasa's (the violinist) project. I hope this superband will last for long.

nana hatori who wrote lyrics for this song, co-wrote lyrics for a couple of Lovebites song on their second album (Addicted, Mastermind 01, We the United) and also The Crusade from their Battle Against Damnation EP, which is Lovebites tribute to Iron Maidens Aces High (a great song you should react to).
They also got help from Mao with composing the song, who is one of the two main composer together with Miyako for Lovebites.

Reminded me of a "More Japanese" version of Lonesome Blue. I think Mao's songwriting and arranging is a big part of that since he seems to be the main songwriter/arranger for both bands.

He is also one of the main composer for Lovebites.
I'm a lot of time confused with the difference between the credits music and arranging, and why they are divided. I assume music is the structure of the song, and main melody while arraging is the invidivual parts, like the drums, guitars, bass etc. Spotify have all three of the credis just under one credit: written by.
Also Mao usually never have credits for lyrics, whcih in this case is credit to nana hatori who also wrote four songs for Lovebites.

As was mentioned by others, the lead singer was one of the two center singers for the idol group Predia that disbanded in 2022. What wasn't mentioned is that about 8 years ago, this singer (Akane Minato, but Akane Sakae on her Twitter) was in a small acoustic group with Akane Hirose (drummer) and Kanami Tono (guitar) from the rock group Band-Maid. When Band-Maid started getting more successful, the side group with Akane Minato (known as Mochi to Chiizu) was disbanded.

A new supergroup! Most of the members have day jobs, so it’s not clear this is more than a project, but we’ll see. The hook? This is a metal band built around a violinist. To top it off, she plays a custom five-string violin. I’d say that qualifies as metal.
    Violin: Ayasa (currently with Morphonica)
Guitar: Yuki (founder and co-lead in D-Drive)
Bass: Wakazaemon (bassist with Marty Friedman and other projects)
    Drums: Mizuki (x Lonesome Blue)
Vocals: Akane Minato (x Predia, several other groups)
Two songs posted to date, huge potential! Japan is drowning in talent....

😝 I'm a hard rock fan, I'm not a metal fan, I listen to something and I like it, I'll damn something to the deepest hell! 👹 But this is the first metal band I'm making a playlist for in my YT library! And I've heard more Japanese metal bands like Lovebites, Bridear, but they're just good musicians playing dull American tunes, no invention! This is a level above! 😝
