Power has nothing to do with chain or belt drive, engine torque does not influence it. If it has to fail, it will fail exactly the same stock, than Stage 1, Stage 2 or Stage 3. Revving the engine higher may be slightly related (and you can rev it hard being stock too), but the most related thing is starting the engine many times Vs mileage, this is, short trips
