I’m having a great time traveling with you and Ben through incredibly beautiful Scotland. Thank you so much for doing these videos and thanks to Ben for doing the history lesson. Would love to see more history lessons if possible. Continued happy trails. 😄
I liked the start,Ben stood there waiting for the Barbers shop to open, looking like Pep Guardiola. The middle had so much content. The end was the end of a good day, relaxing in the clubhouse with fish n chips and a well earned drink.Fabulous video.
Thank you for showing more fantastic scenery...Ben will be walking even faster after that shave...Congratulations on reaching the half way point. Looking forward to the Cairngorms part of the trail...Best wishes to you both.
P S. "Bus" should read "minibus" on my previous post. Also well done on the quality and editing of the video, including the choices and variety of accompanying music.
Another great day. Just a wee correction. Rob Roy dealt in cattle, not sheep. Cattle was the main livestock until the highland clearances when sheep were introduced. Highland tenants paid their chief in Black catrle and vast jerda would be driven down the drove roads to the south for market. Many of the routes you ise in the hills are old drove roads or the routes used by cattle thieves to steal from neighbouring clans. Many of the oldest inns and puns are on old drove roads. The "protection" was called Black mail, the origin of the word we use today.
Such a lovely couple, and making you good progress. By the way you two. I read somewhere on line yesterday that the main bus serving Cape Wrath lighthouse is suspended for many weeks , if not months, while the road to the ferry is repaired, so you may want to check that out. If so you could still walk that lane all the way to the ferry, as long as the ferry is running ! Or I suppose just retrace your steps south back to Sandwood Bay and beyond to civilisation !! 👍👍👍
Nice way to spend time👍
What a beautiful walk in the woods! Nice job...as always...with the editing! Thanks for the history lesson. Happy trails!
