I was about to start doing something else when I decided to watch this video. I'm glad I did. I watched an earlier video on Japanese book binding where the awl had to be pushed through all of the smaller paper books. I just knew there had to be an easier way. Awesome.
Hello ! It is preferable that it be 80gsm to 100gsm paper. If it is thicker, the signatures should contain fewer sheets. For example, if you use watercolor paper (which is very thick) each signature should be made up of a single folded sheet.
Did you make the board to hold the papers for gluing yourself or can it be purchased somewhere? That board is very helpful with DYI projects. Thanks for sharing.
