It was a game changer for me the last two seasons. I have simplified that design and made it automatic and simultaneously operable. It's very cool seeing folks gaining functionality and saving time, effort, and money. 😀
It doesn't have switches to activate the pumps or the downstream. It's automatic. Turn on whatever pump you need or your downstream and the system does the rest.....

It was a lot of time and effort, but I believe the juice was worth the squeeze......
I have a similar thing, but I have cam locks I use to swap fittings to the new pump rather than just flipping a switch like you are
