I’m reading these comments and feeling some weight being lifted off my shoulders for the first time in a very long time. I have been an ARMY since being 17 and used to watch every interview, music video, every award show and spend hours on Twitter - life then got in the way and I am now 23 and haven’t had the time to dedicate as much love to the boys as I’ve wanted to but my god reading these comments made me feel butterflies and comfort I have felt at 17. Times are hard, I’m struggling and just being reminded that I have a home with BTS and ARMY had helped to make today a little brighter. Thanks to all ARMYs who have spent time writing these comments, you are awesome. Literally writing this with tears in my eyes, I’m the middle of my new house whilst unpacking my kitchen; everywhere is torn apart but it feels a bit warmer with you all and our 7 loves.

It’s October 29th, 2022. I use this video as lullaby for my nephews and they fall asleep easily. It’s a way to transmit my love for BTS to them. I’m a 31 yo straight male, a proof that BTS is not just for a gender, an age or a nationality. They’ve helped me through some rough times. I love them and I’ll be here for them in 2025 as well. I purple them and all army 🫰🏼💜

TBT ... Back when BTS debut days. I was like here's a little boy band that won't succeed in the music industry. For years on I never followed them, but one day I heard a few songs and heard Min Yoongi speak and listened to his past with anxiety and depression. This made me explore more into their music, interviews. In 2020 BTS took my hand and walked me up to the top of the mountain and showed me what's out there. This is one of the best decision I've ever made. I was a grumpy 50 year old man back in the day but when I started to follow them. They have changed my life completely. I'm not scared to say I love BTS to other people. I tell them that one day they're maybe a artist that may change your life someday. Mine was BTS. I love you brothers ....

When i heard butterfly song or sprinh day it makes me misses my friend when junior high school , and now we're in different senior high school so i just miss her already
I honestly relate to this on another level. I was promised by my former best friend that we’d always be together and she’s always be there for me, we both promised that to each other. I’m barely even a freshman now but I’d known her since second grade. We did everything together and then she just texted me one day and said and I quote, “We can’t talk anymore you’re causing me to much pain. Goodbye.” It wasn’t up for debate and her words still haunt me to this day. I tried so hard to keep her but she walked out for the second time in that friendship and that time it was final.

Before we met this year, i think we were seventh graders, she gave me a necklace and told me we hopefully meet agian.
Now that im a ninth grader and met her, she broke our friendship.
Everytime i see it i get reminded of her.
In this thursday i give it back to her (hopefully) and i wont get reminded of her, i will move on.
I think she became more depressed than ever, when she broke it, its her fault now, i just hoped we become together always.
But not every good friends/family/moments stays.
Secrets UwU I totally get that. Me and her had planned a whole future being best friends, things such as living together, and then just a couple weeks ago she made a group chat behind my back even though we haven’t been talking for months, and she told everyone in that group chat to stop being friends with me, luckily the people she added still believed me rather than her. I still have her clothes at my house and haven’t had the courage to give them back or get rid of them so they just sit there in a pile. We’re only going into high school and not to expose her or anything but she’s done some things that she probably shouldn’t have and I still stuck by her then, but I swear I breathed the wrong way and she’d stop talking to me for a week. She was always to busy for me and had excuses to not have to see me. But my other friends have been there for me, and though I’m still upset over my former best friend they made it somewhat better.

When I was a child, I only knew death, too many people around me that I loved died. I made it a habit at a young age to never let anyone truly get close to me, that led to me being very antisocial. The only true friend I had was my cousin, who was like a sister to me, she was 2 years older than me, and she always taught me to stand up for myself. When I was 7 my grandma passed away after heart failure due to her heart surgery, that was only the start of my separation anxiety over people leaving me, then 3 years later I stopped hearing from my cousin, this is where the true story begins. I was only 10 when I found BTS, I remember it extremely clearly, I was sitting at my desk in 2014 browsing my youtube when I spotted vibrant Orange hair, I look at the thumbnail and see Taehyung better known as V, it was the MV for Boy in Luv, I remember vaguely that it had come out 6 or 7 hours beforehand if my memory hasn't failed me. I was intrigued as to why this was in my youtube feed as I had never looked anything up that was remotely similar to this video, out of curiosity I clicked the video and fell in love with their music, and the way they presented themselves.
As time went on though I started becoming more depressed, I was self-conscious about myself both inside and out. I stopped drawing pictures, I stopped smiling, I stopped eating (mostly) and I stopped being confident in myself and my appearance. By then I was a huge fan of BTS and listened to all their songs new and old, and watched all the videos and bangtan bombs when in 2016, I was struck with terrible news, my cousin who I thought of like my sister and only friend... died, overdosed on pills. I was a wreck, I stopped doing anything that somewhat kept me sane, the only thing I had was BTS as if they could save me from this hell even if it was for a short period of time... then, a year later they released their Love Yourself campaign. All of a sudden, as I watched Namjoon's speeches, I slowly realized what I was doing wasn't healthy, I needed to stop. after 4 long hard months, I managed to get myself put back together, even though I have episodes, and I forget to eat occasionally, I'm fine now... so now whenever I look at BTS, I see my real teachers. The ones who taught me what it means to be human.

There will be bts music on my wedding. when I marry the love of my life... I'll always remember the 7 men who taught me to love myself and made me feel loved first. When they disband, when they move on, when they get married and have a family of their own. They'll always have a special place in my heart. Nothing could ever replace them or make me forget the huge impact they had on me and my mental health.

There was once a BTS. A *Jin* whose mere laughter made us laugh and whose angelic voice made us tear up, a *Hobi* who was like the sun that cast its warmth on us and made us feel like one ourselves, there was once a
*Golden Maknae*, our Jungkook, whose excellence, goofiness and gentle heart all combined captured our hearts, a *Yoongi* whose genuine, raw emotions and words not only touched but caressed our hearts, there was once a *Taehyung* who is too special for this world and whose soulful voice littered us with goosebumps. There was a Jimin who always strived to sing better to dance better, and deliver perfect performances no matter the fact that he, in our eyes, is already a perfect inspiration. It's been a year since I ended my 8 years relationship. I was a very social girl with a happy life. But his family rejected me because of my religion. That period changed me into a whole different person. I accidentally saw ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’ on CZcams. That was the first BTS song I heard. I watched every stage performance of that song. Searched more songs of them and listen. And then got to know the amazing personalities of our 7 boys. Fell in love with their everything. Them and their songs are the only things that saved me from everything single hard time I’ve gone through. I don’t fear for face anything now. Cause I know I have them and their motivation to do anything. Thank you BTS for thought me how to love myself and made me realize how valuable I am. I can’t imagine that time without you. Its 12th of October 2023... Jimin's birthday tomorrow. Jin,jhope and suga already in the military. Listening to this playlist i just can't stop crying but then i get back to the thoughts of why i didn't met them earlier but armies said it correctly that you don't meet BTS when you want you meet them when you need them the most. there are many moons-
A few months ago I saw how a girl who wasn’t an army yet slowly started to become one and how she looked a bit more happier since then.
I haven’t been feeling like myself and felt like I couldn’t breathe because I’m always overwhelmed with so many thoughts like “what if I don’t make it?”, “what if I can’t go to college because of money?”. I was doing so well during my freshman year but when Covid hit I felt trapped in time like everyone else was moving forward and I just standing there. Now I’m a senior in HS and I feel weird like I didn’t get time to enjoy HS like others or anytime to mature or process things because to me it wasn’t long ago when COVID was killing so many people and still is but even if it wasn’t my fault, I felt like trash again I was so disappointed in myself for letting myself go so easily when I promised myself that I would never ever be like that again. But I begin to lose interest in things that I used to enjoy, gained a lot of weight, felt like my depression and anxiety got the best of me, I felt so many fatigue and lost motivation to keep going and at some point I almost lost myself forever because for many nights I cried myself to sleep hoping it was my last breathe. I was and am exhausted my life was never easy to begin with because of the circumstances I lived in I had to forced myself to mature faster than others because there was no other way I could survive. I suffered a lot and still am going through so many hardships but not many know about it because I prefer to keep it to myself to not bother people because sometimes I can’t not physically accept people’s empathy without feeling out of place or weird and there’s sometimes when their words have no effect on me because I don’t feel anything. I never realized how cold I could be until someone dear to me told me about it and I never realized how resilient and wise I was for my age because I thought it was normal and that everyone thought the same but I guess I was wrong. Even though at the moment I feel this constant anxiety I have hope that everything will be okay and that I will be okay. Grades aren’t everything and don’t let your grades determine your worth because even if you don’t feel like it YOU ARE WORTH A MILLION STARS AND DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND BE LOVED! Don’t stack your feelings until you can’t hold them in because that won’t do you no good and will just hurt you even more. Feel those emotions and embrace them and know that you will be ok and you will live. Know that you’re allowed to feel pain because that’s what makes us all human so feel and accept yourself. Never be embarrassed or ashamed to be feel weak or vulnerable. Know that I don’t care who you are or what you are because even if I never met you or know you I still love and care for you. I mean you’re listening to BTS right now we already have something in common lol. Be yourself and never be embarrassed because we’re all unique but know that being different is ok because if we were all the same then life would be boring haha! If you got this far I hope you have an amazing day/night and hope that life treats you better. Stay true to yourself and remember that you are not alone and not in a scary way incase this gives you constant anxiety and make you sleep with your eyes open haha but like emotionally. Think of it as a big and loving virtual hug and pat on the back because you are doing your best to keep going and I’m so proud of you because you are strong, resilient and beautiful so never forget and if you need to read this as many times as you can to remind yourself it’s ok. Anyways I love you all so much and hope the best for you! Come on! You can do it! I 🐝 🍃 in you! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜ARMY!!!!!!

you watched as the seven members walk to the middle of the stage at the end of the song. our angels looked so vulnerable. the whole stadium was in silence, until you shouted, “i purple you !!” your voice rang across the stadium, and you heard armys shouting that as well. our boxy-smile owner taehyung kneeled down and couldn’t stop his tears from flowing. soon after, bts repeated that with you as well. you realised that bts owned a special place in your heart, and no one could ever replace them.
worldwide handsome jin did his signature finger kiss and said, “im forever your car door guy, the third guy from the left.” yoongi kept silent the whole time, but he gave you a wobbly gummy smile, and that was enough to make armys tear up once again. hoseok looked up while wiping his tears and said into his mic, “im your hope, youre my hope. i was jhope.”
namjoon then said, “thank you for being with us all these years, we were bts, and you were an army. now, it’s the time for you and me to let go of each other. look up my moonchild ! do you see the bright and yellow moon? we love you, don’t ever forget that.” everyone looked up when they heard fireworks, but when their eyes focused back on the stage. they were gone. you put your face in your hands and sobbed loudly.
the day may come in a blink of an eye, so treasure your time now with them, then you wouldn’t regret not loving them enough.

I don't know why i'm commenting really but here am I.
I am 21 and for as long as I remember i've had anxiety as well as eating disorders...and well I was never in a good place mentally, my self esteem was and still is shit.
A month ago I discovered and really learned who Bts are. Yup only a month or so ago. I instantly felt stupid for sleeping on them for so long.
I first got really moved by Min Yoongi, this man...he made me realise how strong someone could be and how you should be unapologetically yourself, and how hard work always pay. Yoongi really became a model to me. I wish I could thank him someday and I just hope he knows how beautiful his soul his.
For some reason Jimin and Namjoon moved me too. Jimin because I saw so much of myself in him, how hard he is with himself and how far he pushes is limits... and Namjoon just...man his lyrics ?! The whole mono album? This man knows what true pain and loneliness are, I relate so much with his lyrics. And yeah I discovered them and then I fell with such a passion for these guys, all seven of them. All different but so complementary. And damn they are funny af, always making me crack a smile when I need it.
I just...I don't know, I needed something to cheer me up in this life and they just appeared aha. I don't consider myself an army but I just love them so much.
And well that's it I guess, I just felt like telling you aha. (No need to answer, i'm an introvert so i'll probably won't know what to respond if you comment on this post lmao).

I have a similar story, actually. I struggled with severe anxiety, OCD, and am still recovering from an eating disordeer. Once I found BTS, I felt so much stronger, so much more...whole.
I relate to Yoongi because of our histories of mental illness, and he reminds me I shouldn't be ashamed of them.
I relate to Jimin becase of his struggle with body image and an eating disorder, and just like you, because he's so hard on himself.
And Namjoon...where do I even begin? I couldn't relate to his beliefs more than I already do and the way he pours himself out into his lyrics is just...wow. Everything I think, it's there in his songs. No wonder that man is my ultimate bias.
Jin's confidence inspires me to love myself more, and (thanks, Eat Jin) reminds me I SHOULD be eating and I should never feel ashamed for doing so.
Taehyung reminds me it's okay to be myself, Jungkook motivates me to always do the best I can. And Hobi.....I feel so at home whenever I listen to his mixtape. He really is a piece of piece. I adore all 7 of them and cannot thank them enough for the joy they have brought me.

I have been reading the comments and its so wholesome . I am so grateful to be an ARMY and I found such nice people to guide me to right path in life and taught me to love myself . Its so magical that we all found them when we needed them the most . And saying "thank you army" then they turn into the butterfly. And came back with a flower. Saying that "we always be together" than turned back into butterfly. Go into different directions. I walking till one place make me start to tear really hard. The beach with a sunset. All Army and BTS were Standing there waving hand to me. Saying "come here, we need to be together" and we take the picture. And everyone turn into butterfly and dissappear. I look on the photo that we take. There something write on the picture. "we were only seven but we have you all now. We already reached our dream. Its time to go heave together. Thx Army." I look up to the sky. The sunset was really beautiful. I hug the picture. And slowly disappear from the earth. My last word is "everything is fine now. Finally I can be forever together with them. I miss army and BTS. My dream and last wish already come true. I will be fine there. Thank you." my picture fell into the send. It's a beautiful dream. Suddenly I open my eyes. And smile brightly. I look at my phone, didn't realise the song already finish. I quickly write something on my diary." there's nothing can change them. I love them. They all are my family. Till my last breath. We will turn into a butterfly then disappear from the earth. Shah Shahrol Maybe you can download an app of simulation of a piano and watch tutorials in CZcams . Maybe it's not as profesional as a class but you can learn the basics and improve. :)

Finally, I found it. I never imagined to find the piano version of my favorite band BTS. I feel so many memories. In the past, I used to think they are some normal boy band. Now, I learn self love through their songs. When I was a baby army, I didn't get it whenever Armys said BTS songs are meaningful. After exploring their artistic discography from the past to the present, I can clearly see why they are loved so much. I wish they are happy, healthy and keep on making meaningful songs. Love you , my Bangtan.
It's 2023 and it's 1:17am. I found bts in 2016 on May 15 when save me can out an hour ago, I found something in them that made me want to know them more, as days go by and as months go by soon they turned into years and ive never been happy with myself and BTS. I've always got hate for being an ARMY BY FAMILY AND friends it was hard. I was 10 when I found them, I was abt to end everything because mom wanted or expected alot from me, it started at 6 and it went on, I didn't feel like myself, I hated myself, I harmed myself, took things to forget and try to leave it and push it aside but it kept coming back and killing me more and more till I'm down on my knees. Ive always wanted RM to be my missing pieces, I've always wanted jin to show me the confidence in myself, I've always wanted suga to let me know I get get thru everything with a little help, I've always wanted j-hope shine and happiness to help me glow, I've always wanted jimins not caring what other ppl think any ur weight or height but still get offended here and there.. I've always wanted v's warm and calm voice and smile, I've always wanted jk's worrying about the ppl that care abt him hurt... I've always wanted BTS love and support... Now I have it all I'll never forget them at all.. struggling can be hard to get out of but 7 men's can help u even just a little.. I've made songs and ace classes, cooking the best, and practice dancing with their choreography... Anddd I LOVE MYSELF EVERYDAY AS MUCH AS I LOVE THEM I CAN WAIT WHAT IS YET TO COME... Been here 6 years going on 7 the best number 💜💜💜💜

After watching their vlive where they announce that they will having a hiatus I decided listening to this piano cover to remember all my memories with BTS while tears flowing from my eyes.
BTS when I heard these three letters I start crying missing and get happy .These three letters are very comforting.My friends are getting through a lot they always tell me things like I am jealous that you are so happy and you don’t go through like we do…but they never know what I am going through..I had suicidal thoughts and was depressed and even cried daily ..They think I am really really happy but really deep inside I am alone and sad.I don’t trust any of my friends because When I was little my friends (old) told me I am ugly,fat…They even made fun of my name…I didn’t focused it but I wrote in my diary and even remember what they said every time I was dumped by them ..Whenever I remember I start crying that words have became knot in my heart…Like they never know I am going through sadness they say,”you probably going through but not deep as me”Like they have known me from very first..I want to break with my current friends too but I don’t know how,I just don’t feel right with them…..When I got to know about BTS I cried while listening their songs,got happy with their songs…Whenever I listen to them I forgot all about my past..When BTS announced military enlistment I cried a lot even in front of my friends they told me like it’s nothing but only 2 years and you will have their songs then why are you crying..I wanted to say to them like they made me who I am today and because of them I am this happy but couldn’t..I turned cold because of military announcement they are like she is just like that because of BTS but they don’t know that I was happy because of them but because of BTS….
At last I want to say that
WHO I AM TODAY IS JUST BECAUSE OF BTS.I LOVE BTS MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WHOLE WORLD

Whenever I feel low, I always listen to BTS songs, it makes me feel better. Almost after 5 years, today on 21 Jan 2023, I found this playlist. I liked it very much. Thank you very much Doopiano for sharing this playlist with us .

After reading a lot of the comments, I had the realization that the Army is more than a "classification" or group of people, it's a bunch of compassionate people who will always be for each other and BTS. You guys in the Army are more than just an Army, you convey so much greatness and that's what makes this Army such a great thing to have! We are people of diverstity, culture, music, support for each other, empathy, and most of all BTS.

It feels like just yesterday when I came across these seven young men # BTS on my CZcams feeds. The moment I saw them performing on AMA’s. I was wondering who these boys looking so fine and dancing smooth like butter. The visuals, morality the voice the presence they showed on the stage. It was impeccable the aura they possessed was unforgettable to date.
That was the day I knew I want to keep my life connected to these positive seven men and get motivated by them and lead my life with such dedication and grace.
